The solar panel is built tough. At first I just set it up and didn't screw it down a lot, once it was down it survived the fall without a scratch. Otherwise it does what it should. It is used to charge an outdoor speaker so that it does not always have to be dismantled for charging.

The camera was delivered quickly and well packaged. In addition to the camera itself, the scope of delivery includes a solar charging panel and a USB cable for charging with a plug-in power supply. Also included are drilling templates for attaching the camera and the solar charging panel, as well as screws and dowels. The solar charging panel has a cable length of approx. 2.90 m. The connections for the charging cable and the SD slot are on the underside of the camera. They are covered by a silicone flap. There is a plug in the silicone flap to connect the charging cable without having to open the whole flap. Unfortunately, this plug is then no longer attached, so you have to keep it well so you don't lose it. I've been using the camera for over a week now. Registering in the app didn't work at first, which was probably due to the fact that the battery wasn't sufficiently charged. After a full charge via a plug-in power supply, registration in the app then ran smoothly. The quality of the picture is excellent. Both by day and by night. Switching to IR night mode can be disabled, automatic switching between day and night vision can be selected, or you can switch to night vision without supporting the built-in IR diodes if you use an external IR illuminator. The motion alarm is reliable, and you can adjust the detection sensitivity and range of detection in the app. Also, the interval frequency of detection can be set to save battery power. The camera image can be rotated in the app depending on the mounting position. If an alarm is detected, a video sequence is saved in the cloud or on a built-in SD card. Protection plans can also be created via the cloud, which offer more options. I don't use the cloud myself because the videos on the SD card are enough for me. 24/7 storage is not possible, videos are only saved when an alarm is detected. Unfortunately, the camera did not have the option of calling up an RSTP stream like other cameras from the manufacturer. You are therefore limited to the manufacturer app. I have not yet connected the solar charging panel to be able to make a buld about battery performance. After more than a week of normal use without excessive hits, the charge level is still at 60%. So it shouldn't be a problem to operate the camera permanently with the solar panel, even if the sun doesn't shine all the time. Basically, I'm very happy with the camera. It is a pity, but as is the case with all cameras in this price range, that storage on a local storage location in the network is not possible. the SD card in the camera enables longer recordings, but if someone tampers with the storage medium, the recordings are gone. 24/7 storage would also be nice, but would probably consume too much power with a battery-powered camera. I think it's a pity that you can't call up an RSTP stream, but unfortunately I don't know if this is also due to the battery technology. If you attach the camera to a place where it/the SD card is protected from unauthorized access, you have a flexibly attachable camera with the solar panel that delivers a good picture and does its job perfectly. If you can live without 24/7 recording and storage on the network, you have a very good camera with an excellent image for this price.

Excellent wireless camera I was a bit worried about the battery life with solar charging but it's perfect It holds the battery very well, it's long lasting and with solar charging I didn't have a break even in winter (lack of battery)! It's discreet and motion-detecting, no Wi-Fi problem, which is stable The K&F Concept application is clear and fluid, it's great, it's compatible with ONVIF and RTSP like the others, so perfect I'm very happy with the price this camera, which is much more expensive than some brands. I absolutely recommend this camera if you need a solar charging wireless camera, by the way, the cable is long, it's great

The solar panel can charge my mobile phone or operate the camera when the position is good and the sun is shining. It delivers approx. 6V and 0.5 A >> so approx. 3 watts. It also has a current USB C connector and an adapter for Micro USB is included. I can't say anything about the durability, but it seems super stable and not fragile. A detailed test is still pending. I also have to see which camera doesn't need quite as much power.

have quite a bit of experience with CCTV systems. I have set up 2 complete CCTV systems with NVRs in different locations and used all sorts of cameras, some POE wired, some BNC and coax cable systems and a number of wired wifi cameras connected to the systems via the Onvif protocol are. I think I have reasonable knowledge and judgment regarding build and image quality, poor light performance and ease of use etc. Item came in a nicely presented box complete with camera, solar panel (with grommet cable), bracket, separate charging cable, Instructions, mounting template, screws and dowels. Quick summary: BENEFITS: Very nice build quality Solar powered no power source required Allowing for multiple mounting options/locations. Quite a long cable on the solar panel (about 2.5 meters) The initialization process was easy The phone app (CloudEdge) really works with lots of options Notifications can be silenced for an hour or more (in case of false activations caused by wind or rain) Compact size Decent 1080P HD picture quality Wide field of view Siren & light can be selected independently Pan & Tit works very well via the app Solar panel keeps the battery full even in the UK winter sun microSD card can be used instead of paying for the cloud service You are not constantly hassled to sign up to the cloud service Good night vision. CONS: NOT ZOOM which can only be achieved by pinching the phone screen WiFi connection can be a bit flaky at times Lens (outside the lens) suffers from condensation when the weather freezes Lens can suffer from refraction when facing another infrared light/camera Solar panel cable is Shaped in limiting conformation Not ONVIF compatible Infrared may attract flies/small bugs in summer (but this is a common problem with all cameras)

2K Cordless Outdoor Battery Security Camera with Solar Panel. I've been looking for a camera with a solar panel for a long time and came across this offer. So far I have used a camera with a cumbersomely routed power connection. Another solution was needed. The installation is very easy. Everything you need is included in the scope of delivery: screws, dowels and even a drilling template. Initially, I was skeptical as to whether the solar panel would be able to fully charge the camera's battery even in the darker months of the year. First of all, the camera was fully charged via a stationary USB-C cable before it was installed in the final north-west location. Additional shading from trees here. So high demands on the solar panel. Despite all my concerns, I have to say that the camera only went without power once. But that was an extremely dark day and has occurred once since the installation 2 months ago. respect for that. Installation or integration into the home network is uncomplicated. The instructions for this are detailed and more or less self-explanatory. It should be mentioned that the installation is carried out via the K&F Concept app. Even monitoring and recording via the cloud works perfectly. The camera also has memory expansion so that recordings can be saved here. The connection of the solar panel is well thought out and waterproof. No lid has to remain open. The cable is inserted through a recess. I think it's a very good solution for an outdoor camera. All in all, I am super satisfied with the camera (price/performance, image + sound) and I can only recommend the camera.

The panel made a very good impression. The material is comparable to the panels on the roof. It can be connected to anything with a battery and USB-C socket. A camera with a battery is the application that lends itself to permanent installation. The perfect orientation towards the sun is also no problem for south-west attachments.

Excellent image quality from this tiny camera, even night vision is good but backed up by a surprisingly bright floodlight when needed. Overall, the wide angle isn't great, but you do have pan and tilt, which unfortunately doesn't follow movement. I made a small bracket to mount on my house and even paid for the cloud service. I was so pleased with the camera quality. The solar panel isn't able to do much, and where I mounted it, there isn't enough daylight to keep it powered. So it requires a full USB charge, but I just used a power bank to save having to remove the camera from the mount. I recommend this camera!

In the last year I have already bought 2 cameras of the brand for surveillance of my house. Since the two cameras I ordered work without any problems, I wanted to buy another one for the outside. Since the power supply is difficult outdoors, I bought the camera with a solar panel. As usual, setting up the camera is really easy and shouldn’t be a problem even for non-technical users. Since the camera is charged with a battery that is charged with a solar panel (but can also be charged via USB), it can be set up anywhere. The cameras have a great picture day and night and the alarm settings are good and easy to set in the app. A clear purchase recommendation from me because I am also enthusiastic about the other two cameras so far.

Solar panel for battery camera. Solar panel is suitable for battery cameras not for mobile phones. If you use it to charge your phone, it's very slow. # Product is well made and comes with a long cable. Any time.
