haven't had it long enough to explore all the features and functionality of this remote solar powered security camera, but I can say that based on a short term test this device appears to be very good indeed. My first impression from the start was the quality of the camera, solar panel and fittings. Everything seems to have been well thought out in terms of weather resistance of the electrical connections, including the SD card slot and the on/off switch. This is my first experience with such a camera, but everything is pretty simple and intuitive in terms of installation and operation. The CloudEdge app is very slick and has exceeded my expectations so far. The real-time remote control of the camera from my iPhone is excellent and the imaging is very clear indeed. I like the excellent range of movement of the camera and the operation of the internal motors is barely audible. The battery performance claims are probably correct as I left the unit on in the box with no power for almost four weeks and barely used any power. My WiFi router is 5GHz but also has a 2.4GHz channel which I chose as this camera only works on the lower frequency. I initially thought this was a weakness until someone explained that while 2.4GHz doesn't get through walls as fast, which makes sense. I use an SD card in the device as I didn't want to sign up for cloud storage and I'm happy with that as the camera is out of reach for anyone to access the card. Love the fact that you can install this camera quickly and easily without having to connect it to internal recorders or cables etc. It's literally a plug and play device and has given us peace of mind when we're not at home. If the features I haven't tested are as good as the ones I have, then this is a great security device. Based on my experience so far, I can definitely recommend this security camera for home and light commercial use.

It's like the wonder security camera I've been waiting for. At first I wasn't thrilled with the bulk of this camera and how much space it would take up in the front of my house, but after installing it and seeing the results, I'm blown away! The solar panel isn't that big and the cable that connects to the camera is discreet but needs to be secured. You have to think about where you will get the best light and aim the solar panel in that direction but the installation was very easy and first thing for me it comes with template stickers to help with drilling the holes and inserting the anchors, fabulous. Of course, none of this matters if the camera isn't reliable and the image quality is rubbish. But I'm happy to say that wasn't the case, for 1080p the picture quality was good and the playback was great, no tearing, no blurring and I could see license plates across the street from my house even while I was walking around moved. The app is solid and connecting to my network wasn't a problem. The only downside is that it cannot connect to a 5GHz Wi-Fi router. I had to rely on my 2.4 network, for 2022 I find that unacceptable, they should accommodate more modern routers or even both standards. And if I had to be really picky about relying on the sun to trickle the charge, I can't use any of these in my garage... but they're small beans. Moans aside, everything about this camera is excellent, the light is powerful, the alarm is great, the tracking and AI is spot on, the night vision is superb and the clincher for me is, there's no contract, you get all the features in one purchase and it even provides its own electricity. For that reason I can only recommend this camera! I won't even take one star just for the 2.4G Wi-Fi.

got the camera for outdoors where I don't have access to electricity. So far I'm very satisfied, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the battery is fully charged again (message is displayed on the mobile phone via the app), even if there is little sun (like just now in autumn/beginning of winter). The quality of the camera images is also very good for me. In my opinion, the recordings and motion alarms work as expected. Ride with the medium sensitivity level and think that it works well and is also very balanced in terms of battery consumption. At the moment I don't have a memory card in use, but the recordings are saved via the cloud - so far enough. All in all I am very satisfied - it would be great if you could control the camera. In my case not really necessary, but would be a feature that could still exist. Otherwise everything is fine so far, can definitely recommend the camera!

My test with this solar panel was very satisfactory. Charged my tablet for a week. It even tries to charge in slightly cloudy weather. Of course the sun has to be there. You can never determine the loading time so precisely. Really depends on the position where you place the solar panel. Also how much direct sun the device gets. It's really enough for my small devices. Since I'm in no hurry, I can charge it in peace.

The solar panel was delivered quickly as usual. The workmanship of the panel makes a good impression. Mounting material is included. Good: an adapter from USB-C to micro-USB is also included. So you can use the part directly for different devices with different USB ports. The technical data: max 6V at max 3.2 W. Mind you, these are maximum values that can be achieved if the panel is optimally aligned. This roughly corresponds to a USB plug-in power supply with an output of 0.5 A. Considering the size of the part (approx. DIN A5), this is a good value. The "operation" is of course very simple. Set up at the desired location, i.e. where the energy is needed, align for the best light reception, connect the device. For me, that will soon be a battery-powered outdoor camera, which will then enable continuous operation via the panel. Until then, I'll use the part in mobile applications to charge cell phones and power banks. Fits!

Once again a very good camera from wansview. It's not the first camera and it won't be the last either. Processing is very valuable, has intuitive operation and is easy to set up. "Wireless" is of course only partially correct in combination with the solar panel. The camera itself yes, the solar panel must of course be connected to the camera. A long-term test regarding battery life and solar panel is still pending.

already have several K&F Concept cameras in use. For another corner to be monitored, I have now bought this version, again Wansview, so that you can control all cameras in one app, start live transmission, all alarms at a glance... The functions are very useful as before, Live broadcast, motion alert, microphone, night vision, recording while there is motion, 10 second preview, remote access...etc... What's revised as a feature here is that you don't have to hold down the microphone button to communicate with the person to speak in front of the camera, but like a call, my presses the receiver button and thus establishes a voice connection. The setup is as simple and self-explanatory as ever. The camera can be operated either with the solar panel or with a conventional USB power cable (power adapter is not included). It is nice that the solar panel can be set up separately from the camera, just where more sun is expected. The power saving feature is good. The cam is only in operation (recording / alarm, etc...) when there is movement, otherwise it is in power-saving mode. So, once again a great device at a good price.

This is already my 3rd camera from this company. I am very satisfied with the device, the battery is always charged reliably, the software runs stably and the setup is very easy. The camera takes a good picture, you can also see things well at night, a clear purchase recommendation!
