*UPDATE* I had to update my review....this camera is amazing! I based my other review on viewing the video and pictures on the the camera screen. This weekend we downloaded them onto our laptop - wow!! Our family and friends were so impressed with the clarity of the image, color and the sound. I have added a video - it sounds like there is some sound distortion, but it is only our creek nearby. We are SO impressed with this camera! We bought this camera to see what kind of wildlife we had on our property. The 1st day we set it up, we made the mistake of putting it on the highest sensitive motion (I can't remember the exact setting name as it is not here, nor do I have the manual at my house). The motion sensors were so sensitive we had a memory card full of leaves blowing for hours! (Our fault - the directions specifically warned about that!) So, we set it on low, and checked it a week later - oh my goodness!! It was amazing! We had all kinds of elk (including babies!!) and some turkeys. Our favorite was when one of the elk came up to the camera and sniffed it! CUTE!! The picture was amazingly clear and the battery life said full even after 2 weeks. And, like I said, the 1st time used we filled a 64 GB memory card! We are extremely happy with this purchase and are planning on buying another one for our gate area. It is very easy to set up and use. We LOVE the fact that we can check the pictures right in the woods instead of having to take it back and download it onto a phone or computer. Great camera for a great price!

This camera works out of the box once you have your AA batteries and an SD card (I am using a size 128 GB Micro SD card bought on kf ). It has survived wind and hail and takes very good pictures. The pictures are deleted by pressing a review then delete button on the camera or you can hook up the camera to your computer (or use a card reader) to view/delete. There is a 30 second count down function that allows you to set up the camera without causing it to take pictures of you setting it up (the motion triggers the photos). The pictures are surprisingly clear! There are 3 sensitivity setting and the first time I had it on high sensitivity it took 500 pictures, then only 25 better photos not the medium sensitivity setting. The camera is so easy to use that you don't need a lot of instruction to use it out of the box. I wish the viewing area on the camera was larger but downloading to your computer fixes that. Great camera and it will capture people and creatures in the area of interest with amazing detail in daylight or nighttime,

kf is the best trail camera I've ever used. Its quality and performance exceeds most of the high-priced well-known brand trail game cams. I was very impressed with its excellent photo and video - 16mp picture and 1080p 30fps video. Pleasantly surprised to find that the 10-second of videos in 1080p were only about 10MB size, much smaller than the video of 30MB size on my another brand trail camera. I guess this was produced through the advanced encoding and compression technology as stated in the description. Really save my cost on sd card and easier for me to share! It seems in reliable design and has good waterproof performance. The cam was outside during a wind driven torrential rainstorm and as expected there was no water infiltration into the camera. I also found that in low light where there was only a weak corridor light, this cam could take color videos, but my another cam could not, although the videos in low light were not same clear level compared to in adequate light at daytime, but those were clear enough for me to identify everything, and present more details than videos in black & white. I tried to take videos by my phone without flash turned on, the phone only can shoot a nearly dark video clips. This cam did good job. Amazing! In the woods, there is total darkness at night, it performs quite well, the nighttime pictures and video were still clear. No glow IR LED is very important to me, I won't worry about whether it would be stolen. I am very pleasant with my purchase and I think this cam is one of the best choice I've made.

Had this camera for over 1 month, it was a perfect purchase. It is built in good quality and has lots of features. Its positives:- easy to set up. it has a color screen, good for programming and preview- far, fast and accurate motion detection- unbelievable clear pictures and videos- accurate time-lapse- H.264 videos (in good compression, haven't seen this feature in other game cams)- can accept 128GB Micro SD card, greater than 128GB the seller advertised- good for camouflageI can't give out the comments on batteries life, but it looks fine by far, time will tell.At the moment, so excited I have owned this cam. I would recommend to my hunter friends.

It does what it said just beware it won't work through glass.
But outside the images are quite clear.

Using it for human surveillance. Too bad it's so exposed as it must Not be behind glass to trigger. IR sensors don't work thru glass. Physics always wins. These long-duration cams only turn on long enough to take the picture, unlike plug-in cams that use the continuous video to detect a trigger thru glass, that would kill the battery quickly. IR sensors of trail cams are passive until triggered and can run for months on AA alkalines. So, if you want to monitor from inside, you must use timed triggers. This nice cam is fully configurable for both. Outside, unlike animals, humans will simply destroy it or steal it if they see it. Paging thru thousands of photos on the cam is possible, but using your computer is much better as scanning software can quickly find the triggering offenders. Each picture is a fantastic high def thing. Over 81,000 16K photos fit on a 128GB card. 1080p HD video can store over 14 hours of HD video of your favorite 2 or 4 or more legged subjects. Cheap alkaline batteries took a 16K photo, every 5 seconds, 24/7 from 2PM Thursday to past noon on Saturday in rapid time mode. Walmart has 8 AA cells for $1.97. Works great. The no-glow leds are powerful past 100 ft but you need a 12VDC cord, not included curiously, to power them for long recordings. Animals will never know they are shining brightly at them as this light is invisible to them. Movies of maurading coons emptying my trashcans are undisturbed in total darkness. Not sure which animals can see IR light.

I am very pleased with this camera. I bought it based on other reviews' positive statements about the night vision. I own 2 other brands of cameras. The night vision distance and clarity on the kf is far superior to my other cameras. Day pictures are crisp and clear. I haven't used the video function yet. The only downfall is the size. I wish it came in a smaller, 4AA battery size. Which is what I was shopping for when I saw this on kf. I decided better night vision was more important than camera size. I also somehow set the password without knowing it. Not sure how I did that as this camera is very easy to set up and use. I emailed customer service @ 7:30 at night. Thay got back to me within an hour with instructions on how to reset the password. And they wrote back to make sure things were ok the next day.

I haven't owned it very long but it was very easy to set up and the videos are beautiful. I use it to watch wildlife in my woods and field. I have 4 other trail cams and this is BY FAR the best.

We really liked the camera - put in the batteries and a large memory chip. The could choose video or photos, we wanted it only to work at night when we were asleep. It takes up to 128GB, which is a lot of video. As you can see from the video, it looks great and is sensitive enough to start taking video right away and while the raccoon was there for a long time, it kept on videoing and got all the action. The raccoon did take a nap between feedings and there was a gap there, but it was on our deck for 1:05 and it was pretty hilarious and instructive about what we need to do to keep our feeders from being ransacked every night without getting rid of them altogether!

I have been using trail cameras to scout deer in MI since they had 35mm film in them, have always looked for a balance of quality and price. I do not need a camera to produce superb pictures I can blow up and frame for the wall, just need to accurately see what is happening in my area and have it be reliable in all conditions. I need a camera that performs as expected and is priced where I can get several and can count on them for 4-5 years of 5 months of typical conditions in the woods.I previously had been using Browning cameras with great success but recently they have gone up in price. I was looking for another option when I came across this one at kf. I was skeptical when it first arrived, so I set it up at home to test and was very impressed with the trigger and the distance it detected movement. In the first photo I attached, the subjects have bushes masking their movement and it still caught them in between. The distance to the fence is roughly 90 feet. It produced multiple shots like this over the course of an afternoon, even as the light faded. The other photos show examples of in field day/night time performance.I have placed my kf Trail Camera in the woods about a month ago and one thing I have learned is that these triggers are almost too sensitive. They easily detect long grass moving in the breeze and harsh changes in sunlight. I had to relocate accordingly. Fortunately there is a setting to change the sensitivity (low/medium/high). I left mine on high as I would rather it trigger too much than not when needed. These cameras also have side sensors which I think is a great idea to give the camera a chance to wake up as a subject approaches the field of vision for the lens. Night time shots seem to be good, with the occasional purple cast to the photo. I have not yet tried video. I will update when I get more results and opportunity to test all the settings/features.In summary, this is an excellent camera in terms of price, features and trigger sensitivity. I would recommend you give it a try. Daytime photos are excellent. Durability has not yet been determined and video testing has yet to be done.***UPDATE***One thing I have found is on the highest sensitivity settings you get a lot of false triggers/pics with no animal movement. I changed it to medium sensitivity and it works very well. I actually bought another one and they are the best cameras I have in use now. I am very impressed with the nighttime photos and the general trigger time of these cameras. Including a couple more photo examples.
