Really great tool for action cam’s I use a DJI osmo action and it works great, good results for smooth footage. I’ve also found the use of the mobile app on iPhone useful to get motion time lapse. Great product. Would recommend.

I am a person who makes videos for everything, whether traveling, going to the mountains, family videos, etc... Well, since I bought this stabilizer I can say that my videos have improved remarkably, the fact that every movement I make, this stabilizer makes it so smooth and always leaving the camera straight. In addition to making the video more professional, when viewing it it is much more pleasing to the eye due to the softness that the image transmits... It is the first gimbal I have and I am very happy. Very comfortable to wear, very long-lasting battery, many recording modes... The motion lapse mode once, when recording a time lapse and moving the camera progressively, gives a very cool effect to the video.
In general, a 10 to this stabilizer, also taking into account its great price, it can be said that its purchase is almost mandatory.

The quality of a video is measured according to a wide range of variables: composition, lighting, sound, sharpness, etc. One of those variables is also the movement and the fluidity, or not, that results. And this gimbal now puts in the hands of practically anyone, a fluid movement that, until very recently, could only have been achieved with much more expensive professional equipment.
Its use, at a basic level, is very simple. You load up, put on the camera, and the gimbal works its magic. There are multiple modes of use and to internalize the operation of each one requires using it for a long time.
The battery lasts a long time and it's great to be able to use it to power the camera itself.
The tripod is also very practical.
At the level of materials and weight, it gives an excellent sensation. I did not try it in the rain but it gives a lot of peace of mind (and versatility) to know that it can withstand a certain degree of humidity.
And in the end, what counts, the stability provided by the device: Very good! It makes a noticeable difference using it versus not using it. The full range of motion it allows is also excellent.
One of my favorite uses is being able to record practically at ground level. Before, I also recorded in this modality but it was immensely uncomfortable due to the position and the result (very moved) was much worse.
In short, for amateur video, it is not a mandatory product but for those who care about the quality of their video, a gimbal like this brings you closer to a professional quality video.

I've always been curious to try a gimbal. I did not believe that its use could improve an action camera video so much. I tried it with a mid-level action camera with active stabilization and the results are amazing. I recommend if you have a gimbal like this to disable stabilization because the action cam with active stabilization tends to crop the image as well as consuming more battery. The package includes a handy hard case with the gimbal inside, a comfortable tripod, two usb type c cables - micro usb and one micro usb - micro usb (to charge the cam using the gimbal battery) and the charging cable of the gimbal. Built in an impeccable way, the handle on the underside has a rubber coating that greatly improves grip even in sweaty hands. It has a central console with a button through which you can choose the 4 shooting modes, a lever to tilt the cam sideways by +/- 30 °, a gimbal power button and the fundamental and very comfortable joy to move the cam. On the front there is a trigger that if kept pressed activates the sport mode (more reactive gimbal movements in order to capture moving objects) if pressed twice brings the cam back to the front position. The most beautiful things this gimbal allows you to do are the reception mode (360 ° rotation on horizontal areas of the cam) and motionlapse. In the shooting, as you can see in the video, they are made in such a way as to show you how going down the stairs the image does not tremble in the least and always remains fluid. In the shot I used the all-follow mode, where the cam follows all the movements imposed by our movement. On the handle, in the lateral parts, there are on one side a series of vertical LEDs with green light that indicate the charge of the gimbal battery (I have used it for more than 9 hours and they are still 2 out of 5 notches) and from the another a threaded hole where it is possible to insert accessories such as the smartphone holder to have, thanks to the Hohem gimbal app, a larger screen where you can see the shot. Overall I think this gimbal is a very good buy. It is worth all the money I have spent, maybe even more.

I bought the Hohem iSteady pro 2 to document my travels with my GoPro Hero 6. Above all when recording fast sporting activities, I attach great importance to a stable and smooth picture. I've been using gimbals of all sizes and formats for some time now, the iSteady pro 2 is solidly built and has a comfortable grip.

Stabilization: I had already seen some Youtube videos, so I already knew what the picture will look like in the end. No matter what the position, I always got a smooth picture and overall I am very satisfied with the stabilization. The engine noise is relatively quiet even when the engine is working hard. Indoors, I was able to see them very easily on the recordings. But I don't think that the engine noise is noticeable in outdoor recordings.

Conclusion:
I can recommend the gimbal to anyone who wants to use it for vacation shots or action shots. I've researched action camera gimbals a lot and I'm convinced that I made the best possible budget decision with the Hohem iSteady Pro 2. The device is very robust and can therefore also be used in difficult weather conditions. I think the design is well done. The stabilization results are excellent, I am very satisfied so far.

As a tech buff, he is always eager to get a 3-axis gimbal. Always keeping an eye on the market, this model has recently been upgraded. Ordered and arrived very quickly. Comes with a carrying case, USB cable and gimbal. Although all the instructions are in the manual, you can use it right away. Has additional functionality to connect and control from app via Bluetooth. Connects real quickly. It is more convenient when using tripod mode and hands-free mode (virtual joystick) to operate remotely.
Gimbal quality is really good and lightweight with built-in 4000mAh battery. It lasts longer and can charge the video camera while recording. The stabilizer is well advanced with a 6-sided calibration. Having few buttons, it is easy to use.
Overall, I'm very happy with the videos he takes and would recommend the product.

I love the way it comes with cable to plug my GoPro directly into the back of the gimbal, it doesn't charge the camera but it powers it for me through out the day doing video in London. I now can leave my batteries and charger at home and not worry about running out of power.

I did some running and fast walking down the stairs etc which is really demanding of any gimbal and the iSteady did a great job at stabilizing the footage. Mounting the camera is simple with 2 small threaded screws to adjust tension of the clamp. I wish the screw heads are bigger as it is really difficult to tighten or undo the screws.

The app add another cool feature which I tested out, it does motion lap by taking the gimbal position as key frames. You set the time duration and it will move through the keyframe one by one until the end. I would live to have more control over the time laps speed between keyframe which is not available.

I have so much fun with it which drives me to do even more outdoor work from now on

Gift for my wife although I'm using it a little more often then she does. Very well executed idea with totally silent motor. Once calibrated it works magic. Different between handheld and the gimbal camera record is absolutely massive. Plenty of programs, battery last forever and remote control makes it a great buy. I can't complain at all to be honest. Please have a look at the video to check how it works, I definitely recommend it.
