This was the first time I had attempted to clean a DSLR sensor myself so I was a little apprehensive but the various customer reviews on a variety of kits etc. This product comes with instructions and after you read and collect them We were amazed at how easy it was to achieve the courage for the task in front of us, in no time actually carefully clean the sensor itself with the pad. I then took test shots with the camera and all dust etc. was successfully removed. I used two swabs for the task on this occasion so have plenty of liquid and swabs left for future cleansing.

In short: a great thing! The swabs fit the sensor of my 6D MK II perfectly and do exactly what they are supposed to do. I also think it's great that they come in a very sturdy zip-lock bag. This means that you can use them without any problems even after a long time, as they are just as free of dust and lint as they were on the first day.

That worked a treat, my sensor has been dirty for a while. To minimize atmospheric dust (which you can clearly see in sunbeams through the window) I did this in the bathroom to minimize room dust as much as possible and use a fine water atomizer. I used a strong white light to check for excessive dust in the air. I used this article to show the sensor. It's perfect.

Having never cleaned the sensor myself, I was a little nervous if this would work. There were warnings that the swabs could leave streaks on the sensor or damage the sensor mount. None of that happened. After I had carried out the sensor cleaning, the camera remained switched on, the sensor was locked and 3 drops of the cleaning liquid on the swab and we could start. The swab is exactly the size of the sensor and carefully weight the swab from the far left to the right and then vice versa and the cleaning was complete. Then I took a picture of the blue sky at f/22 and looked at the result in LR. The sensor was clean except for 3 spots from the previously covered sensor with spots. I repeated this cleaning two more times to remove the stubborn stains and the "blue sky image" was free of smudges and the sensor had no streaks, which I saw with the magnifying glass. The recordings afterwards were flawless, the sensor was not damaged and I was enriched by the experience that sensor cleaning works well if you proceed carefully. In a word: The swabs with the cleaning liquid have convinced me.

You have to press something to clean the sensor. No feared scratches, everything easy. Would I buy again, am very satisfied.

If I were to make these I would probably ship them in a zip bag or shrink wrap them individually in thin PE or cellulose, I would also make the flex a tad stiffer and the swabs themselves half a millimeter wider. Anyway, will never buy Visible Dust again. This one: bring it on!

It was easy to put a few drops of liquid on the swab, then swipe it over the sensor, then pull it back with the other side of the swab. I then took another photo of my white wall and most of the dust was gone. I then repeated it several times, sometimes with liquid and sometimes dry, taking a photo each time. Of course, you can only use each swab once, so you'll go through a few. I ended up with a stubborn spot and it took a few times but I finally took a photo which proves my sensor was as clean as possible and I couldn't see any spots at all. Recommended.

As good as the high-end Sensor Swab brand. To have used both the quality is the same for less money.
