The decision to limit oneself to the core function of a lamp and make it a little more solid has proven to be the right one. It looks good, feels valuable, is well thought out and convinces with a pleasant light colour. Therefore full 5 stars. However, the controller on the top, which is used for switching on and dimming, has to prove in use that it keeps what the engineers promise. In any case, the idea is good: If you hang the lamp somewhere, you can dim the brightness simply by turning the lamp. The only criticism: The pressure point for switching on and off is only good at the minimum or maximum dimming position. Some users seem to feel compelled to rate the lamp poorly due to mysterious rattling noises. A look at the underside is enough to relax the situation: you can remove the bottom by turning it and then you will find the charging cable and a carabiner safely stowed away. If the manufacturer had also written this in the instructions, the confusion would certainly have been avoidable. Nevertheless, a full purchase recommendation, especially when you consider that some manufacturers charge three times as much for comparable performance.

...for in the tent or under the awning in the evening. The light can be continuously dimmed in terms of brightness and the light color can be adjusted from "cold-white" to "warm-white". The battery lasts a long time (three evenings for us) and can be recharged via USB. I can recommend the lamp.

Cleanly processed lamp with 4 modes The warm white level is the most pleasant, if you want to illuminate an entire room, the cool white mode is quite good. Do you need the RGB? Matter of taste, but works, but can be disabled. A minus point is the long battery charging time of about 4 hours to talk about solar completely, takes forever.

.... but with quite a good function in terms of brightness and dimmability. However, the on/off button doesn't make a good impression, it wobbles in the guide. How you get the idea to also hang up the lamp......, no, no. I can't imagine that this will benefit the function in the long term. I immediately removed the ladder and attached a cord to the steel basket. Due to the compact design, the light cone is quite small when the lamp is standing directly on the table, but setting it up ten centimeters is enough to be able to eat in the dark. If you can hang the lamp, even better. However, when the cold-light LEDs that shine downwards are switched on, the base of the lamp casts a fairly large shadow on the table top. Water resistance is not that important to me, but I think that the lamp will withstand the odd drop or two.

Functionality is good - decent light, dimmable, different light levels (warm decorative light or bright lighting). So very good ... The material just seems a bit "cheap" and the particle of course doesn't have the intended vintage flair. It's also really small. However, you can see that sufficiently in the product description - so everything is ok :) After a few hours of use (with carrying something back and forth) something rattles inside. Everything works, no problems and you can't see what's loose either, so I'm guessing that some cable is rattling on the housing. As long as nothing is "defective", that's okay - but it looks a bit cheaper xD

I'm really excited about the lamp, optically, it really makes a good impression and feels really high-quality and heavy, although it's so small, works perfectly and arrived almost fully charged. I ordered the lamp to simply save some electricity and instead of a candle to put the lamp on the coffee table and I think it's really bright.

There are many comparable products, this one stands out. Very bright light, small and handy and a good power source for mobile devices. I bought the crank lamp as emergency lighting to be independent of an external supply. I am prepared for the energy crisis.
