It closes exactly and the flange focal distance fits three different, tested old Leica lenses perfectly. I cannot make a direct comparison with a higher-priced adapter, but I don't know what could be done better. Of course, the camera must support shutter release without a lens, as the adapter has no contacts or electronics. Focusing and aperture have to be set manually on the lens.
