A UV lens is one that I recommend everyone have in their kit, especially if you like in very sunny but windy climates like I do. It really does help protect my lens from the debris flying around and just things in general. Photography isn't a cheap hobby/profession so taking a few dollars to invest in some protection is necessary. The fit of this is very tight, at first I didn't think it would fit properly but I just had to screw it on and off a few times before the threads slipped on with ease. These aren't super expensive which is great, but still do the job.

As expected, easy to assemble. No problems.

UV filters don't do very much from an optical standpoint, but I sometimes use one to add a layer of protection for my camera lens.

If I am in a windy or dusty environment, I pop on a UV filter. I also like to use one when it is rainy to keep water droplets off my lens. It is much easier to remove and clean a not-to-expensive filter than it is to clean an expensive camera lens. I try to carry UV filters of appropriate diameters for the lenses I use.

Mechanical and optical quality are good as far as I can discern. The filter threads smoothly onto my Nikon lens.

This vendor offers wide variety of filters. Pricing seems very reasonable

If you look at the photos you can see my Canon lens with major scratches. This is what happens when a guest hits your camera with a big ring! The lens still works but the value is gone. This is why you need a little extra lens protection when shooting. I can't believe I never purchased a filter for this lens. Just like driving, it's the other guy that will cause an accident and you end up paying the price. In the other photos, you can see a side angle of the new filter. It is thin and fits this, Sony, 24-105 just fine. The Lens hood fits over the filter and the lens cap works without any issues. The filter itself looks like very high-quality glass.

I put something on all my outdoor lenses to protect them, and I like to use a UV filter to cut a little of the normal haze shooting in beachlike settings. I usually use something pricier, but decided to try the K&F Concept 52mm MC UV Protection Filter.

It arrived in a slightly wider than normal filter box. The box was slightly larger because the filter was packed in a latching plastic box with foam protecting the filter from damage. I looked at the filter under a magnifying light, and it was flat and smooth with no scratches or oddities. It fit my 45-150mm lens perfectly, and it really is a low profile filter. It doesn't seem to affect lens sharpness, doesn't affect clarity, and I'm pleased with it.

I'm quite happy with this UV filter. Is this filter as good quality as one of my $50 B+Ws? Possibly not, but on the other hand, the B+Ws cost over twice as much, and you'd have to be a pixel peeper to notice the difference in image quality. Viewing my pics at 100%, I'm satisfied.

For the price it's great, very sharp and there are hardly any aberrations or reflections.

I'm a believer in protecting your lens. This is a great value that does not introduce any distortion. Highly recommended.

Great UV protection filter that doesn't add anything to your photos. No color shift, no blue cast, no blurring ... nothing. Just a crystal clear UV filter to give you piece of mind that your lens is protected. The slim design is nice because it doesn't produce any vignetting. Can't beat this quality!

You never really know if something like a little filter can actually provide protection for your lens. My bag holding my camera fell. I checked it out and the filter was shattered but the lens seemed perfectly okay. Don’t know if it prevented any damage to the lens but I’m very happy I had it on! Whew!
