I bought this tripod as a birthday present for my sister, as she's seriously into her photography and wanted one to add to her kit of camera stuff. I decided to go for this as it's made of carbon fibre, as opposed to aluminium, and unlike aluminum carbon fiber doesn't rust, so it's ideal for use outdoors, even if it does start raining. The tripod can be adjusted into several different positions in order to gain the best shot - the length of the legs can be individually altered in the event that you have to stand it on uneven surfaces, such as if you're standing it on rocky terrain and need to find a way of standing it so as to get the camera sitting level on the tripod, as opposed to sitting lop-sided. Well, I buy things only if I strictly need them.
Personally I use the most the tripod and when I need to create content for social media I use also the quick release for my phone.
How light is the tripod?
Compared to what I have used used so far it is very lightweight. I would definitely recommend this specially to travellers!!
The head?
When you see if for the first time it might look small to you but from what I have experienced does a good job. It goes 360 and has marking all around which is very helpful specially for panoramas or wide landscapes.
This really helps me when I have to film from a specific angle and then I rotate the head to get a different angle and i literally take a picture of the angle where the camera was positioned before. Like this I dont have to worry about getting a different angle.
The plate of the head has a nice branding on it, made from rubber which will stop your camera from sliding.

This is a good carbon fiber travel tripod that, when folded, is very compact.
