Wireless Solar Security Camera This is better than I originally thought as I had a similar one before that wasn't that great. The security camera has a beautiful design. It seems well made and durable. The camera can be rotated left, right, up and down manually in the app. It moves by itself when motion is detected etc. You can add a micro SD card from 8GB to 128GB. This is located in the bottom of the camera, which is also where the reset button and power button are located. You can use the solar panel to charge it, or you can charge it with the included micro USB cable, giving you an extra 4-6 hour backup battery. I wish it was USB-C, but it's not the end of the world. There is an app that comes with the camera called 'Cloud Edge'. This is quick and easy to pair with the camera. Once you've paired it, you can see the live view, which also shows the camera's battery level, date and time. You can use the microphone and hear clearly through the camera. You can set up all your notifications so you know when something's up or someone's there. You can use the loud alarm siren if you want. When setting motion alerts, you can add the light to turn on or the light and siren at the same time. There is more to this camera than I thought. The picture is better than expected. The notifications are nice and quickly prompt to let you know what's going on. The functions are all easy to use. It seems well done. I would recommend it. A little more than expected, that's all.

The picture quality is fantastic. Very clear, good color representation. PTZ is smooth. The sensitivity of the microphone is very good, it picks up soft sounds. According to the manual, the camera can be used in 1 hour of direct sunlight for a day. The camera is very well built, it's heavy. I was particularly comforted by the strong commitment to privacy, indicating that all information is stored locally on the microSD card. I haven't confirmed that there is no traffic flowing to the internet, but will check before finally connecting. Overall I am very satisfied with this wireless solar camera from K&F Concept. Absolutely to suggest.
Very clean image, strong privacy commitment

This K&F Concept solar security camera impressed me from a hardware perspective. The camera was surprisingly large and appears to be well built. The solar panel is also large and connects via a 10-foot micro-USB cable. Installation was relatively easy. They provide a video detailing the steps on the product page. Even adding the camera to the CloudEdge app worked on the first try (not always the case with wifi cameras, let me tell you). With no electricity, I was able to install it at the other end of the garden, far away from the house. And surprisingly, the WiFi signal works. I've tried another camera in this location before and the signal was too weak, but I guess the 2 big antennas help. My main concern is that the specs state it's only down to -10C, which won't always bring the temperature down in the Canadian winter. I don't expect it to suddenly stop working at -11, but I hope it survives the winter well. I installed an SD card because I'm not really comfortable with a cloud service from a company I don't know about. I prefer to save the footage myself. I put a 64GB card in it but it says it supports up to 128GB. The video quality is very good. It's sharp and lacks excessive compression artifacts. Night vision sees very far when using infrared (black and white) but you can also use the headlights for colored night vision (shorter range). The motion detection seemed good, I didn't get a lot of false alarms as it seems to be able to tell people apart from things like branches blowing in the wind and things like that. When a motion event happens, the app will notify me after about 5 seconds. The solar panel has kept the camera's battery full since installation (it typically gets a few hours of direct sunlight per day, the rest being indirect or in the shade). Outside of use in high-traffic areas where it needs to constantly record, the solar panel seems able to keep up and charge it indefinitely. The app looks a bit rough around the edges. On Android it crashed a few times for me. You're limited to the CloudEdge app to use the camera at all. Unfortunately, you cannot connect directly via the network, e.g. B. via a web browser or your own DVR/NVR system. It's a shame because I think the hardware is pretty good and I'd love to connect directly to their IP in a web browser or connect them to my NAS that way to record them. Overall it's a great camera that's somewhat limited by the software, which will hopefully improve over time.

This K&F Concept branded camera comes in a box containing the camera, a solar panel, all the wall mounting accessories and the multilingual manual. Installation is easy (just provide a drill). The great advantage of this camera is that it is autonomous (solar panel) and therefore does not require an electrical connection. The quality, day and night, is good. There are other slightly cheaper models that offer the same quality. However, you must plan to install the CloudEdge application. Using this type of camera requires the use of the platform mentioned above. So be careful, you have to accept that images pass through someone else's cloud without really knowing much about the security and privacy of the cloud: everyone is free to think what they want, personally I'm not a fan. This camera corresponds to the description , it's still a bit expensive

The delivery was quick, it was packed in a nice box, first you see the solar panel and then the camera, wrapped in plastic of course, but that's everywhere. When I took it out I noticed that it was very strong and light weight, part metal or something and part hard plastic which I like because it makes it very durable, the lenses are coated with protection, very good, otherwise they would get scratched, connected, on and off you were there, it was also quite easy to start and the operation is very user-friendly, simply bomb for the money. My recommendation ✓
Robust, simple and chic.

This camera enables human detection and offers "smart" alarms. With a built-in artificial intelligence algorithm, this wireless IP camera detects motion and reduces false alarms caused by harmless events. It also works great in the dark. Wireless camera with solar panel for hassle-free installation. The solar panel is used to power the camera and the WiFi allows connection to nearby wireless networks. Easy and flexible installation. This outdoor wireless solar wifi security camera has built-in high-capacity rechargeable batteries and is continuously powered by the included solar panel kit. 360° rotation and two-way audio. The solar camera can be rotated up and down, left and right and is fully controlled via the mobile app. All angles are possible. Convenient to remotely talk to people recognized. Access to the manufacturer's cloud to store it remotely or to share access to the camera with several people. It records videos on a micro SD card (max. 128 GB). IP66 water resistance standard, making it suitable for outdoor use. It's really a good product, complete and easy to use (and install). Please let me know if the comment is helpful to you, thanks!

With the camera, a reliably functioning video surveillance solution can be set up even if there is no socket available. After several months of use, it has been shown that the built-in battery, in combination with the solar panel, always supplies sufficient energy so that the camera was never offline due to an empty battery. And that even in the winter months. In addition, the camera and the panel including the cables are weatherproof. Due to the local conditions, I was only able to install the camera in the edge area of my WLAN and did not have the full speed here. However, the connection is reliable and does not break. In addition, remote access is easy. Everything works as described and there is nothing to complain about in terms of the quality of the recordings. Great!

This solar camera comes with accessories for easy installation. The device appears robust and its design and workmanship are meticulous. Before determining the location of the camera, it is important to test the strength of the WiFi signal with the phone. The camera also needs to be fully charged using the included small USB port. I decided to install the camera in a tree where the WiFi network is good and which also has the widest possible viewing angle. Then I positioned the solar panel on the lower part that was well exposed to the sun. Once the outdoor installation was complete, I proceeded to the phase of pairing the camera to my box through my phone. Operation is quick via the previously downloaded dedicated application (Cloud Edge). The application allows you to control the camera remotely by rotating it 360° or up and down. The picture is very good both at night and during the day. The application allows you to communicate like an intercom, trigger an alarm and access many other settings. Motion detection (adjustable) is triggered when no one enters the camera axis at a distance of around ten meters. Each time detection is activated, a message is immediately sent to the phone. Of course, images can be stored on a micro SD (not included) or via the brand's cloud. In conclusion, this fully autonomous camera allows to secure its exterior with excellent image quality.

currently have a Blink camera system installed and will do some comparisons with it. The camera has good build quality right out of the box. Nothing feels cheap or flimsy, and it even looks good. The app is very easy to use and unlike the Blink cameras I didn't have to turn off 5GHz to connect. The app allows you to control everything and is very useful. You can turn on the lights, do 2-way audio, control pan and tilt, watch videos and change all settings. Installation is easy and they give you drilling templates to help. The lag between camera and app is acceptable, but slower in 5MP mode. It's better than the lag that Blink has, and here the lag is only with the app and not the actual recording. Video and audio quality are both good, especially at 5MP, much better than Blink. The night vision is also much better than Blink. The solar panel works if you have it in a good place and the battery is said to last 4 to 6 months without the panel. So it will be interesting to see if it survives the winter without needing to be charged. You can pay for cloud storage or use a memory card that installs in the camera. Unlike Blink it doesn't have a hub which can be an issue when you're using the memory card, as if someone rips the camera off the wall and takes it, you don't have a shot. Overall, a high-quality camera solution, to be recommended.
