WIFI Solar Security Camera System PIR human sensor + 2-Way Audio Built-in Battery 9600mAh AI Human Detection 2K Infrared Night Vision 8m/26ft (White)
SKU: KF50.0010
This is an edit from my first post. I had a problem with the solar panel at first. The seller responded quickly and the problem is fixed. Overall very good night vision. A bit slow when capturing motion. Good day view. I need to figure out how to keep the camera lens clear of temperature changes. Due to the condensation here, it tends to fog up early in the morning. Overall the product meets my needs and I would buy it again.

The surveillance camera is powered by the built-in battery, which can either be charged by a power pack or by the solar panel included in the set. A mounting foot for the solar panel is included and a 1 m long micro USB cable. To set up the camera, it is necessary to download an app, for which the QR code is printed on page 24 of the enclosed instructions for use. Once the camera has been set up, it can be controlled via the app. To do this, it must be registered in the home network (2.4 GHz). You can choose between SD and HD for the video resolution. Furthermore, so-called intercom calls can be made. This works both ways. It also has a so-called movement mode. It detects movement and automatically displays the image in the app. The camera has a night mode thanks to infrared lighting. In addition, 2 bright LEDs can be activated for even better visibility. The images can be recorded on an SD card with a maximum of 128 GB in the camera or you can use cloud storage. The app can also be used to control the viewing angle of the camera, almost 360 degrees to the left and right and 120 degrees up and down. The output image in the app is clear and clear. Thanks to its independence from a power grid, it can be used for particularly dark corners. The running time of the camera is given as approx. 200 days with 10 activations per day of 15 seconds each. The camera is waterproof IP 66.

This review took a little while as I was having trouble charging the solar panel. It turned out that my metal roof got in the way of the solar panel in the middle of the day, resulting in it not generating enough electricity to charge this camera. Now I'll get this out of the way: static position cameras really are the right choice when it comes to security cameras. They help keep an EYE on what exactly you are monitoring and protecting. PTZ cameras are great for LIVE surveillance of what you want to protect. The problem with all PTZ cameras is that there is NO timeout and the camera does not automatically find itself where it was before. After all, I like the image of this camera and I always try to remember to manually put it where I want it. That way I always aim it exactly at what I want to keep an eye on. Now this camera will notify you that motion has occurred and you can try to capture it live. I usually watch the end of an event, but with ANY camera connected to my phone via the internet, sometimes you get lucky and can open it right away. But mostly I have to look back at the recordings. And the recordings sometimes don't capture the start of the event. I don't think this camera is ONIV compliant so it might not be able to connect to an NVR but why would that use up the battery as the sun can only generate enough to run this camera around 4-6 days without a charge to keep going. Good for long periods of no sun such as in a hurricane situation. The internal SD card slot is a must as it allows you to save any event directly and on demand (if your camera has a working WIFI connection). You can use an external battery to charge it if you don't have sun for a while. I like solar cameras because I don't have to run new cables to the camera. You need to plug in the cable that you run to the camera so there isn't a long cable hanging out of the world. Now I'll have to hang this again when I figure out how to hang this camera on vinyl siding. It slopes upwards due to the shape of the fairing. I'm thinking of a wooden wedge. And I'll work on that at some point. It has night vision and color night vision which is NICE. It uses an array of LED lights to illuminate the subject and it looks great. Pros: Solar powered, rechargeable via battery bank, SD card slot, color night vision. Cons: If there is no sun after 5 to 6 days, you need to charge the battery.

► PER◄ Application well programmed Solar panel well processed Recording quality good Lots of mounting accessories included► CONS◄ Sound quality could be better► CONCLUSION◄After a short test phase I am really impressed by the camera. The app used to operate the camera is extremely good. The solar panel is well made and provides the camera with sufficient power. All in all, I really liked the camera and the accessories that came with it and I give it a well-deserved 5 stars. __________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________⊳ First impression⊲ We already have a controllable WLAN camera in our company because a burglary took place at our premises. But we want to monitor several rooms, so we decided to get a solar webcam for the outside area. Packaging and first impression are very good. The scope of delivery includes: *surveillance camera *solar panel with micro-USB cable *USB to micro-USB cable for data transmission *various attachments (very extensive) *descriptions⊳Setup / Commissioning⊲ After a short setup I was able to test the surveillance camera extensively. To use it you need an app on your cell phone so that all functions can be operated. Application is available on both IOS and Android and can be downloaded for free. The application is comprehensive and, in addition to live images, also includes intercom, recording and motion detection. The application is well done, especially the setup on the smartphone is described in detail and it is easy to find your way around.⊳ Recording Quality / Features⊲The camera records in up to 2K, which leads to a very good picture, sound is recorded through a microphone, which can only be used to a limited extent. It's loud enough, but the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. I particularly liked the fact that you can switch the camera to night mode in dark surroundings and switch on the integrated infrared diodes. This causes the camera to switch to black and white playback. I tested the camera with a 64GB SD card and everything worked fine.⊳ application⊲It is also possible to import multiple cameras into the app. You can also access the camera image from your cell phone when you're on the go. The smartphone does not have to be connected to the same network. The camera has a control and can be attached in a fixed position, thanks to the extensive range of accessories, it can be mounted on walls or tripods without any problems. The areas of application through the supplied accessories are large and really well solved.⊳ solar panel⊲Thanks to the accessories, the supplied solar panel can be mounted on many surfaces. I recommend mounting the panel as far as possible at right angles to the incoming sun. The better and brighter the sunlight hits the panel, the more electricity is generated. Right off the bat, the panel also generates electricity when it's in the shade or when it gets cloudy. The output power isn't particularly strong, but it's enough to run the camera without any problems. I tested the performance of the solar panel and plugged it into my smartphone and stopped the time. My phone was charged about 30% in 2 hours. Sunlight was unobstructed and almost perpendicular to the panel. The panel is well made and has not shown any weak points.

Very easy to set up, download and register the app, grab a microSD card and away you go, there is no zoom option which is a shame but not overly necessary and the instructions are a little basic but still easy to set up and use. The solar charging system helps keep the battery charged even though it's winter so it does everything we want and need and the pictures are very clear, with the app I can see what's going on and even talk or that Turn on the light Very happy with the camera

I've had the cam for 2 years now and it's running without any problems - ok for the initial setup, you have to try something around, but with the "smart life" app it worked well. Range if we are realistic, we are around 80-100m, the 300m free field is only theoretical. Purchase recommendation because I have only 20 m to the WiFi hotspot.

We bought the cameras to provide extra security, to deter and to see what happens when we're not there. They are simple and easy to set up and offer excellent image quality. The nocturnal IR image is clear and brilliant with the additional headlights.

I used to have to charge my camera every 2 months. Now I install the battery and forget about it, super handy. Honestly, there's nothing bad to say about this wireless camera other than being careful about how far away you install it from your WiFi signal. Super easy to install. Free app with many options to choose from. Night vision and motion detection to the point. Includes everything needed for installation except the hammer itself. 5 star camera.

Scope of delivery: Camera holder Fastening material Power supply User manual Self-adhesive cable holder The camera is compact and well made. It has a night vision function, motion detection and sound detection. The WiFi reception is excellent thanks to the swiveling antenna. A user account must be created for setup. The app works perfectly and responds quickly. The 2k resolution is sufficient. To store alarm images and videos, either a micro SD card must be inserted or cloud storage integrated. The app can also transmit sound in both directions or issue an alarm sound. The cable of the camera is about 3.5m long. Conclusion: very reliable

have been able to test a few security cameras in the past and can say in advance that I would place the K&F Concept surveillance camera reviewed here in the top ranking. The reasons follow. First of all, it should be emphasized that the camera can work completely independently. No external power connection is required. The camera battery is charged very reliably via a solar panel. How this behaves in winter, however, remains to be clarified. That's the exciting part. So far, for 4.5 weeks, it's been working perfectly. It saves me the hassle of drilling. The installation of the camera worked very well and quickly for me as a layman who does not have much knowledge of such things. Ideally, you should download the associated app onto your cell phone, which can guide you through the installation. Within a few minutes the camera was installed, aligned and ready to go. All recorded videos can be stored on an SD card (not supplied). You are NOT obliged to take out a paid subscription. You only have to complete this if you don't want to save the videos/transmissions on the SD card but on the mobile phone. The camera image is also transferred to the app without a subscription, you just can't save it then. But that's enough for me. I also find it an advantage that you don't have to remove the SD card from the camera to delete the recordings. You can delete all videos super easily via the app. If something strange should be recorded by the camera, e.g. burglars, etc., you can always remove the SD card from the camera and save the evidence. The camera and solar panel are waterproof, however I would recommend at least installing the camera somewhere under a sheltered canopy/eave, to be safe. How long the waterproofing will last is difficult to say with such cameras. I find the image quality to be completely sufficient, but 5k is definitely not. I don't think it's 4k either. So if you are looking for a camera that records high-quality, high-resolution videos in almost cinema quality, then you should rather keep your distance from this camera. However, if you want a camera that reliably monitors the property, that reliably registers movements and reports them, and if the image quality is secondary, then you are welcome to go here. Because the motion detection works reliably and extremely quickly with my camera both day and night. There is almost no time delay, at least none that I can measure. If the motion detection seems too sensitive, you can use the app to adjust it. What appeals to me personally is the fact that the camera automatically activates its own LED light as soon as it detects movement at dusk/night. This is ideal for deterring any nocturnal intruders, as this light is indeed very bright. At the same time, a corresponding motion alarm appears on the mobile phone and you can see in real time who or what is in the radius of the camera. I can say that I had no problems with the WiFi range. I feel they are exactly on the level of other cameras in this price segment. In the case of WLAN fluctuations, however, it is of course the case that the transmission delay also increases and the picture quality deteriorates. You should therefore definitely check the WiFi range at the selected location before the final installation of the camera. In conclusion I can say: I like this camera. It does what it's supposed to do: monitors very quickly and COMPREHENSIVELY in wind and weather, alerts immediately if movements are detected and transmits a good quality but ultimately not 5k video. All data is stored on an SD card, which makes a paid subscription to the APP unnecessary. The camera is self-sufficient in power from the solar panel. So why am I deducting 1 star? Well, the camera does what surveillance cameras are supposed to do. That very reliable. But: the price currently being asked for it is simply too high in my opinion compared to the competition.
