If you open the robust housing, which is equipped with fasteners, a seal and lock eyelets, you can see the batteries on the right side insert. You can easily make all the settings that are also described in the instructions and of course you can also view recordings that have already been made. Recording interval, series recording, time lapse, date, time and all other photo/video settings can be made without the need for another tool such as a computer or mobile phone, which I like. I programmed a timer so that recordings are only possible at night be made, that was absolutely easy. From 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. everything that moves through the garden is photographed. I disabled videos. Even after almost two weeks of use, the batteries still show almost no signs of fatigue, so apparently very little energy is required, even though the night shots are very well illuminated with the integrated infrared lighting. And unfortunately some things from the reviews are correct. First of all, the quality of the pictures seems to be ok. Which is not at all possible, after just one day the batteries were already half full / empty. And the ones that are offered on Amazon were added. Nobody can afford that in the long run. Perhaps choosing the smallest resolution cannot be the last word. Had chosen the middle values. The transfer via USB cable does not work either. The camera is not recognized. After less than four weeks of use in the area, the monitor broke - the screen knows, nothing works anymore! There were already problems with night shots before, the camera just didn't trigger. After a factory reset it worked again. The recordings were of good quality. I bought the camera because several sheep were stolen from me. Since there is no electricity there, I tested this camera. The images are very sharp even at night. After initial problems with the motion sensor, I was able to reduce the sensitivity a bit via the menu. So far I haven't even had to change the batteries. If you take the pictures in full resolution, the included SD card fills up quickly, so I added a larger card here.
