It is traditional to have excellent quality products, I have more items from the same brand and I definitely recommend it! It protects the lens from scratches and dust.

As a professional Landscape photographer, I must have the best quality filters with no colour cast, no light loss and excellent Flare control.
The magnetic Filter set is a wonderful value and to top it all the quality is top-notch.

So much handier than the screw-in filters. My only slight quibble is that the lens cap is a bit tricky to get off (and impossible when I've got the lens hood on) so I might have to glue a little knob or something onto the cap to make it easier to get a grip. I keep the UV filter on full time to protect my expensive lens and haven't noticed any problems with image quality (other than those caused by my lack of talent.)

I put these magnetic UV protective filters, with the magnetic cap on all my lenses. I find it super practical, it snaps back on very easily and is less bulky in the pocket than the classic plastic caps supplied with the lenses. Tests done, I do not see any drop in image quality on a Sony A7CR of 61Mpixels
