58mm ND2-ND400 (9 Stops) Variable ND Filter Neutral Density Adjustable Filter for Canon Nikon DSLR Cameras + Lens Cleaning Cloth
SKU: SKU0125
For the price this is a great nd filter, The only downside is that you get a slight green colour cast but nothing you can’t fix in post production, otherwise great filter.

This is the 3rd 58mm I have bought, the other 2 were a lot more expensive. This holds up to them equally in nearly every way. There is no stop on either end of the throw, so without looking it's had to guage at what stop you're shooting, and it is labelled min to max, rather than by stop also. After a bit of playing though, it is as good as it's more expensive rivals. Very affordable, very affective. Would recommend

A good budget ND Filter to Get you started. This is a decent starter ND Filter, it gets the job done and I didn't notice a huge impact on image quality when using. It's very useful being able to have one filter on and simply turning it to adjust the intensity. One negative is that at the highest ND setting you do get a X shape appear on the image, this is common with most variable filters and makes it unusable at the higher intensities. However for the price you can't go wrong with this even if you only use it for the lower ND intensities.Definitely recommend for beginners who want to learn more about filters and experiments until you have the confidence to drop a much larger sum of money on high quality filters.

I guess for the price this is ok. It does work and is sorta smooth but compared to more expensive versions it is far less smooth feeling. Optically I cannot say if this KF model is ok but I would say as a back up VND it is decent. When you twist it there is a bit of a grinding feel to it. I am not sure that gritty feel will go away in time or not. Now compared to housebrands I have tried from large photo stores I would say this product is better and cheaper. BUT compared to a Tiffen for over $100 this KF is not quite as smooth. Optics don't know.

Love it works great. However! if you have a 58mm thread you will need to buy a 62mm lense cover as the front thread is larger than the back thread and the 58mm will not fit. Just a helpful tip when looking into buying this product.

Product was exactly as described and top quality. I also received it about 10 days earlier than was quoted.

Long exposure. At first I hardly used it, now I'm a huge fan. I shopped around and found the perfect tripod (carbon-fiber Manfrotto, also great). When that arrived, I mentioned to my friend I was planning on getting waterfalls with a slow shutter speed, and he said, "You gotta ND filter, right?" I knew I had a trip up to Letchworth coming up that weekend. That evening I rushed onto Amazon, shopped around, and found this product. Perfect size for my Zeiss 50mm and 35mm!
I didn't really get the chance to mess with this ND filter until I arrived at Letchworth and wow was I blown away! The crisp rolling ring and the crisp shade of black make this such an incredible product. So worth the price! I'm blown away by how it doesn't degrade the quality of my captures my lenses can get.
I love long exposure now. With my lightweight tripod and my filter, I can only grow.
I included a picture of a covered bridge in Cuyahoga Valley National Park taken with this filter. It was a eight second shutter speed.
