Charging speed
The charging speed that you will get from the K&F Concept Charging Adapter Base is identical to the charging speed that you'd have when you just had the DJI USB extension handle on, so you will not lose any of the charging speed benefits that the original DJI handle presents.
You have the option of using either the ¼inch thread or the traditional GoPro style mounting method, which I personally think is very beneficial, especially if you want to add a duel cold shoe mount for a light and also shotgun mic along with adding the tripod or selfie stick to use as well.
This would most definitely be one to add to your Osmo Pocket 3 collection, and I would highly recommend the K&F Concept Charging Adapter Base to anyone who has this amazing device.

Let me start by saying this is a great quality product. All-metal, ergonomic, refined. But it's a lot of money for such a small thing. Is it worth it?
- It helps the Pocket 3 stand up a touch more stablely than it does alone
- It provides a 1/4 20 mounting screw on the base.... which ter pocket 3 has anyway
- It provides a USB-C charging point.... which the Pocket 3 has anyway.
- It provides a conversion option to an action-cam mounting system.
So really, the value here is the last bit - an action cam mount. They do give you the mount too. Disappointly it's the standard brittle cheapish-ish plastic mount that seems to be generic, rather than something if a higher quality like the base plate. Frankly it feels like a generic one they purchased elsewhere and bundled in the box.
The action cam mount is sping loaded to snap back to flat. It can be a little difficult to pull both out because as you let go of one side to open the other, the first one snaps close again. A button to flip them out would be nice.

DJI Osmo pocket 3 quick release charger. It is USBc and has a desk or accessories mount connection.
Plop into charger, charge, click the side releases. USBc charger so charges quickly.

Whilst my Pocket did come with a add on base to allow for charging when mounted on a tripod, it is something of a clunky affair, a very lightweight plastic cube which, whilst matching the gimbal and being useful as an extension handle, isn't particularly stable if stood.
This K&F base is a much more solid affair being of all metal construction plus in addition to the quarter 20 mount on the bottom there are also a pair of fold out fingers allowing it to mount on pretty much any go-pro compatible mount.
This will be a much used item in my kit bag.

Much more compact and robust than the genuine Osmo Pocket 3 extension handle, this slick looking aluminium adaptor moves the USB-C port around to the front for easy charging while freestanding or on a tripod. It also adds the same 1/4 tripod socket, Arca-Swiss mounting functionality and a GoPro style claw adaptor. Two "fingers" fold down from below and are a little fiddle to insert into the adaptor until you've done it a few times as they want to lie flat as soon as you let them go.
It mounts the base of the Pocket 3 with a satisfying click and feels precision made. A silicone pad between the adaptor and Pocket three reduces the risk of marking it as do the rounded orange locking clips on either side. Much shorter than the genuine extension but geared more toward charging and mounting than ease of holding where the original handle has the edge. Slightly wider than the original handle thanks to the Arca-Swiss compatibility it still fits in my carry case which is a big deal for me. Another nice K&F Concept accessory has found a place in my photo-video gear.

It just so happens that I've needed a little stand exactly like this one after putting up a display unit for my drones and camera stuff. This is perfectly sized and Arca compatible, so it'll clamp right onto your Arca swiss tipod head with ease.
Featuring what seems to be an all metal construction, the quality of this little base is absolutely sublime. It clips right to the Osmo without any fuss and the USB-C port now accessible from the rear means you're not lying the camera down on a table to charge it - a big gripe I've always had as you were often resting it on the gimbal.
I wasn't expecting the additional GoPro clamp bits, it seems K&F might want you to consider using some of their other accessories like the shoulder or wrist straps. I already have a load of these so whilst I'm thankful for yet more GoPro compatible mounts for my Osmo case, I didn't need these ones.

This charging adapter base is a solid addition to my setup. The aluminum alloy build feels premium and sturdy, and the compatibility gives me a lot of flexibility when attaching different accessories. It charges my device efficiently and securely holds it in place. My only gripe is that the folding flaps are a bit tricky to keep open when trying to attach GoPro accessories. Once set up, though, everything works perfectly. Overall, it’s a great dock that adds convenience and versatility to my osmo camera. I love the feel and overall look of the adapter.

Even though I think this little accessory is over priced, it is well built and serves its function. I'm a fan of K&F products and this is right up their alley. I like that it creates a standing base while charging the Osmo Pocket 3, but it doesn't work if you have the creator kit with the extended battery addon. I really like it for the action cam style mount option. I have a ton of accessories for my GoPro and now I can use some of them with my Osmo Pocket. That feature makes it worth it to me. However, K&F could dial back the branding on the front of it... It's a bit loud.

Affordable and well made, this is one of my favorite add ons for the DJI Pocket 3.
Gives you a nice charging port and also adds the GoPro style mount to the Pocket 3.
Locks on securely and safely.
It allows you to keep a nice short profile to the Pocket 3, which is what I needed to mount the camera in a tight spot on a car, and it's been working out perfectly.

Okay let's be honest everybody like the design and now that I've gotten comfortable with it I love it
However I wish it had better instructions and was a little more intuitive
Seems very durable Love how adaptable it is
