This black mist filter adds just a bit of movie magic to the osmo pocket 3. Its super sleek so it fits right into the case when it is off as well (as the wide angle and other filters will not) so you can keep this on if you really like the look of the video.

As with most mini hand held cameras sometimes the image is just a little to sharp at the center especially so with this filter it has softened so slightly the image to give it that cinematic look.

One of the big problems with attachable filters on the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera is that they block the camera from rotating the lens to a protected closed position on shut down. They are too fat and the clearance is not big enough. Thankfully, K&F Concepts has solved this problem with filters like this.

These filters are extremely slim, magnetic, and fit perfectly on the Pocket 3. As a German reviewer, Andre, shows via three pictures, the camera can fully rotate to a closed, protected position even with the lens filter still attached. That is excellent. Kudos to K&F Concept.

As other reviewers have rightly stated, the effect is minimal, but sometimes that’s all you want. The quality of the lens filter is excellent and hard to beat. The included front screen protector is also very good and a perfect fit, EXCEPT…if you need to slightly reposition the protector because it was minimally not centered, then you’re finished. There is no repositioning it after you pull it up and put it back down, it won’t seal on the corners ever again – even if you rub, hold, and smooth it all down. The center is good, but there are gaps at the corners. Guess the glass is permanently distorted.

Good quality screen protectors are able to be repositioned immediately after application with the one fear of dust underneath it. Note, the first time I reset it, it did totally seal, but it was still off by a small amount. It was my error in positioning, but I’ve not had this same issue with the cell phone protectors that have been out for five or more years. They are very forgiving of mistakes and allow repositioning.

Amazon Vine sent this product to me for an honest unbiased review. Would I recommend it? Yes, this is a quality black diffusion filter that does NOT block the camera from closing as it should.

This does have a very gentle effect on the highlights of the image. It is very subtle but that it probably for the best it can be distracting if the effect is too strong. It does close when it powers off! K&F is a brand I have good luck with in the past as well so I feel good this will last.

I really like this filter, the focus is softened just enough to make things interesting. It's low profile and doesn't throw the cam off. It snaps on really easily and strongly and stays put.
It's small so I fumble it around a lot but I keep a lens wipe around because I have fat fingers and get fingerprints all over them. Getting it out of the case without fingerprints has never happened.

KandF Concept are quickly getting a name for themselves in the world of Photography products and I have had some really good, high quality and very reasonably priced products from them. These filters are no different. I really like the magnetic quick fix / release mechanism which allows these to be changed out really quickly. The manufacturers have done this properly and I have full confidence that they aren't going to fall off. The filters can be used to add a bit of Pizzaz to your recordings. As far as I can tell, black diffusion reduces contrast slightly, Light pollution reduction filters out some of the red hues and blue streak and star filter both add a bit of sparkle to any light sources in the shot. This particular set seem a little niche but they may be just what you are looking for.

This latest assortment of filters from K&F is aimed at the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 user and come well presented in vibrant packaging that looks very professional.

The set of 4 filters, a Black Mist, a Blue Streak, a Star and a Light Pollution are safely housed within a handy plastic case, ensuring their protection. Also included is a small cleaning cloth.

The filters are the usual K&F high quality and are very light in weight but also easily attach onto the DJI OSMO Pocket 3 snugly and securely by way of the built in magnetic feature.

This set of filters is possibly a bit specialised for most users and probably the most used will be the Black Mist and the Light Pollution filters, with the Star and the Blue Streak being a bit gimmicky.

The Light Pollution filter works particularly well when shooting under the yellow sodium type street lights while the Black Mist helps with softening skin in older subjects.

All in all, the filters are user-friendly and easy to install, delivering impressive results with the usual high-quality K&F optics.
