Got this translator for my dad since he travels and meets people often. He’s not very tech savvy, but this device was simple enough for him to start using right away. The buttons are easy, and the screen is easy for him to read without straining his eyes. He likes that it can do instant two way translation he just speaks, waits a moment, and hears the translation clearly. The photo translation has also been handy for reading menus and signs when he’s out. The offline mode means he doesn’t have to worry about finding WiFi, which takes a lot of stress out of the experience for him. It’s small enough for him to keep in his jacket pocket, and the battery lasts through a full day of use. He mentioned it works best in quieter places, but even in busier spots it still gets the job done. An great little device that’s made his trips and daily interactions much smoother.

I was able to translate every item on the menu of a French café by simply taking a picture of it, so I no longer had to speculate about what I was going to purchase. The smoothness of the two-way speech translation is noticeable. Whenever I spoke into it, it would react in the other language very immediately, which made interactions feel more natural and less uncomfortable than they would have otherwise.In addition, the support for 142 languages is a significant advantage. The fact that I could switch between Spanish in Spain, French in France, and Italian in Italy without having to transfer devices or applications was of great convenience to me. Of course, I did not utilize all of them.With a battery life that was unexpectedly good, it is also highly portable, at roughly the same size as a mobile phone. It lasted me for two days without needing to be recharged, and I used it intermittently throughout the day.
