I recently picked up this variable ND filter for my camera setup and honestly, I’ve been really impressed with the performance for the price point. I ended up purchasing the 72mm version after trying the 77mm model, and both have delivered solid results for photography and video work.

The build quality feels premium right out of the box. It comes with a nice protective case, and the filter itself is made from metal and glass, giving it a durable, professional feel. The adjustment ring rotates very smoothly, making it easy to fine-tune exposure while shooting outdoors.

The variable ND function works exactly as expected. Image quality stays sharp across most of the range, and I didn’t notice any major loss in detail during my testing. At the strongest ND settings there’s a slight colour shift and some vignetting, but nothing that can’t be corrected quickly in Lightroom or other editing software.

For creators who shoot both photo and video, this is an incredibly convenient all-in-one filter for travel and everyday use. I still use my square filter system for more demanding professional shoots, but for quick setups and portability, this filter has become my go-to option.

Considering the quality and versatility, the price feels fair overall. If it were slightly cheaper it would be an even better value, but I’d still confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable variable ND filter without spending a fortune.
