Very well made with thin, light metal frame + high quality glass & coatings; effect is subtle...
I have several lens filters from K&F Concept and I've been very happy with the quality of the glass and coatings as well as the workmanship. I am am very much an amateur photographer (but a very enthusiastic one) and I have several cameras and quite a few lenses and I've been trying to build a collection of different types of filters for each as I learn more about what they can do. I like having a core set of the filter types that I will most use for each lens. I have heard a lot of pros and cons, but I have also decided to follow a suggestion from several photographers to focus (ha, ha!) on amassing a set of 82 mm lens filters that would also work with any or all of my smaller lenses with the appropriate step-up rings. That way I can cut the costs, especially when considering a specialty filter that I wouldn't necessarily use often. This is my first purchase of an 82 mm lens filter, and as expected, the quality is excellent. The effect is rather subtle and it does help soften images, so think it will work nicely with certain portraits and close-ups. I'm wondering if I would have been better off with a filter with a 1/4 factor that might be used more often. The title/heading for this lens filter states that it is water-proof and this is also stated in the full description. But in the summary just above the 'about this product' section of the description it is mentioned that the filter is not water-resistant at all. I'm going to assume it is water-resistant, not water-proof. The price seems very reasonable and the lens filter arrived with a nice sturdy case.
