Manual only. I use it with vintage lenses and an EF adapter ring. The image quality is fine.

Since Canon doesn't deliver, I now have a K&F adapter for my camera. The lenses fit perfectly, everything works. The adapter does what it's supposed to and is a lot cheaper.

I can't say anything negative about the performance and workmanship. This adapter can do everything that my original adapter can do. It has proven to be a reliable OPTION to Canon adapters. All contacts are of excellent quality and are robustly designed. The adapter from k&f has proven to be a reliable partner in photography.

The lens adapter comes individually packaged in an accompanying box. It looks sturdy and can also prove this in everyday use. There is no play at all on the bayonet side. Of course, there isn't any play on the M42 side either. The lens adapter could be a bit lighter. 115g is quite a lot. Conclusion: robust, with no noticeable play, high quality, a bit heavy -> still deserved 5 stars

This really seems to be a high quality product and looks good too!
The fit on the camera body is just right, not too tight (unlike the previous model) and with no slack / movment. I bought this to use mainly with 3 manual Samyang lenses I have in Pentax fit and all 3 lenses fit perfectly, again with no movement.
One thing to note is that the use of this, or any other adapter, is always going to shift focus somewhat so that, in this case, infinity focus is way off the lens marking. This was to be expected though and a bit of testing to establish the new infinity focus point can be carried out and the lens marked accordingly. All 3 lenses have an aperture ring too so no need to keep wide open.
In summary, a handy product to have if you have older manual lenses you'd like to keep and use.
