Love this, once opened up, easy to use and focus,10x30 zoom yes,, love it, small to carry around, pouch and cleaning cloth, fitting for tripod stand if needed, and carry strap fit to tripod stand fitting.To use this.Eye piece, turn to pull out unless you wear glassesA rubber ring below the eye piece turn for the 10x30 zoomThe monocular itself to activate it, slowly turn and PULL barrel to open, you then turn barrel either way to focus. Once you get your head around how to use the focus, this surprises with how good it is. It feels durable, sturdy and it’s usability and functions do not reflect the price. When the zoom function is used it not only zooms in but also increases the viewer size of the image. This makes it great as a spotter scope for wildlife and nature, with an added bonus of the zoom function for increased visibility, clarity and view. This can also focus and zoom in on things approx 2 metres/7 feet away, which makes it great for bird hides and feeders in the garden, yet is also capable of getting a beautiful view of the moon.Once you get the hang of how to use the focus, this thing will be an impressive addition to the outdoor backpack.

Overall, it's been a good value purchase for the money! I'm sure it's pretty hard to find better scopes in this price range. It's quite portable which was my main priority. The only downside is the settings which is very fiddly and you'll need some time to experiment with focusing it. You'll need both hands/fingers! The attached manual is rather useless so you'll need to find it out yourself, but after this `running in`, it appears quite simple to use. The 30x magnification is a bit overstatement, but still you can zoom in on surprisingly deeply. Obviously, the picture will become `shaky` around after 20x magnification, so you'll definitely need a tripod there - neither this or a phone holding clip is in the pack, which is unfortunate. Forget this scope with a hand tremor, I'm afraid!Good low-light usability though, down to its good quality lens.Highly recommended guys!PROS:- Low cost - good value- Strong magnification power- Portable with good build quality- Also fine with wearing glasses- Not much distortion in the cornersCONS:- Rather fiddly setting up- Both hands are needed to use- Less stable picture with higher zooms - a tripod is a must- No accessories in the pack

This is a great monocular with a nice bright image. The instructions are not clear and it took a little time to twig them double focus system. This involves sled and t we OST for fine focus , a bit like a combination binoculars and telescope!A good buy.

Really pleased with this product and works well.You just need to remember to pull the front end out fully then use the focus wheel. Easy to do but if you don't then focusing is a problem. - Of course I could have read the instructions !!

It functions ok, but I really should have bought a better zoom and spent more money.
