Great camera with high quality picture and video quality . Detection distance is impressive my from gates over 20 miners away and it’s detects all motions straight away, in specs it says upto 25 meters. It holds 8 AA batteries which gives this unit outstanding 16 month standby time. Will see how long it will last after 16 month, even if it last 12 month its great. The most best outstanding part on this item that it came with 32gb memory card and has 3 way motion detection system and also internal led display. Where you can see all footages without plugging it to PC.

I am very pleased with this camera, I have mine set to come active at dusk until dawn. This menu choice is not available with every camera. The photos and videos are very good considering. I paid two and a half times for a different make of camera which was 'No Glow' very disappointed.I am now about to order another one.

Amazing camouflaged camera with sharp sensors.Requires 8 AA Batteries and SD card before setting up off the grid. The entire unit looks and feels sturdy and tactical grade. The package contains a trap, camera itself and a mini usb to usb cable. The camera display is basic TFT display and basic operating system possibly to keep the cost under the limit. The sensors in the camera are sharp and activated the recording functions within seconds.Picture quality is not so great but not too bad for the price. In order to mount the unit there are one strap and a tripod thread under the camera.Even though it has a 12v dc input port, the chargers are not included with the package- although the camera was intended for outdoor/ off grid use, it would be great if there was a basic 12V DC charger included with the package.

I have used trail cams for many years and until now using an American brand. I was cautious in buying this model due to the price, not quite believing the reviews but gave it a chance. Well, received the unit a week ago and tested it - very very happy with it.Positives:* The 120 degree sensor angle makes it easier to catch an animal if it crosses sideways, quite a challenge in the past.* The fact it will take pictures and video at same time is also very useful.* Quality is very good and the fact you can regulate sensitivity on IR strength is very fantastic. Now if you get it wrong and the animal is too close or too far against the setting naturally the quality is affected.* At first I thought the screen was a gimmick but I quickly changed my mind. I can have a quick look at the results without changing the card or moving the camera.Less positive notes:* Found it bit bulky in comparison to what I am used to but in the end it does not matter.* Battery pack area could be slightly more accessible like a cassette system. Not having long finger nails to open the latch I found it tad fiddly however this is a very minor pointOver views:Great value for money, exceeded my expectations. Now if it lasts a long time I don't know. It has worked in near freezing temperatures so no issue there,

Had this a few weeks now and still haven't got to grips with recording, wish I'd returned it but maybe it's me and not the camera! Too fiddly!Having now learnt how this works have obtained very good pictures of wildlife in my garden at night, taken at ground level, anything much higher will be effected by movement of plants due to wind. Like that I can plug in USB to my PC and see pictures full screen and that they are automatically saved. I didn't find it easy with arthritic fingervs to remove the memory card, others might not find this a problem.IR good so no flashes when filming.

I was very pleased with this, my first ‘nature’ or overnight camera for capturing movement in your garden or anywhere outside your home. You have to invest in an SD card (a few pounds will buy enough storage for thousands of photos). Additionally you must buy and replenish 8 AA batteries. I don’t mind buying batteries but they do make the whole unit heavier than it needed to be.That complaint aside, everything else is excellent. Setup is easy with good, simple instructions in the box. In a few minutes I had my batteries and SD card installed and formatted, and was up and running taking photos in the garden. The build quality is reassuringly rugged - the camera opens and closes like two halves of a book, via a secure latch. Once opened you can access the viewfinder screen, on screen controls and physical buttons, all of which are easily learned. The camera has plenty of options for photo, video and movement detection modes. The still pictures are turning out well (the camera is not designed for indoor photography) and the night video is excellent, both in terms of accurate detection - hedgehogs in my case - and video quality. It is easy to transfer and review video footage via the SD card, as long as your computer or tablet has a card reader.I also liked the discreet dark green colour of the unit, with matching carrying strap.AA batteries make the unit heavier than it needs to be, but my Amazon branded batteries have lasted well so far, with no depletion indicated on the on screen guide after a week’s use. I would have preferred a rechargeable battery and a charger in the box.Overall I’d describe this is a very good quality trail and overnight camera for beginners in this area of photography.

Today I am reviewing the GardePro E5 wildlife camera.A decent weight to the cameraI love the look, quite rugged to look at, and like camouflage, so not easily to see, unless looking for it.24MP, 1296p with ultra fast 0.1S motion activated.100ft night vision90 ft motion activated.I am using mine for both animals and security, one to see what my dog (Alaskan Malamute) is up to outside at night, and security my driveway and car/ door etc.Current price £69.99** The camera does not come with any batteries unfortunately, I would pay a little more to have decent batteries, also does not come with a useable SD card. If you have a SD card already then if it’s high enough GB wise, it should work fine. I have a large one in my old camera.Buy decent AA batteries, last longer, and needing eight of them, I wouldn’t want to keep changing them.Fairly easy to put up, although not ever using one before, took me a bit of time.Timer can be set and how wide I wanted the angle.Sounds I can hear well, and can be put on my computer/ lap top.My camera is under cover due to my car porch, been fine through the cold weather, rain has not hit it yet. Not tried in excess wind yet.I feel the camera takes really good images/ pictures and captures my dog, always prowling at night. Blur reduction. The E5 camera supports three capture modes, photo, photo & video, and videoPlaybackLoop recording.IP66 waterproof.Temperature -4 to 140F** The battery’s must be lithium in cold weather, for better results** As stated previously, used eight AA batteries.Remove obstacles that may hinder the performanceComes with mounting strapAlso included a Uk manualTakes a 256 GB SD cardHas recording sound, which is very good. This is the first camera like this I have had, so a first timer.Looks nice and not cheap, very reasonable costs** Thank you to the seller** I hope my review has helped, kind regards**

This is the second camera I have purchased over the last few years (previously a different brand) as my one sadly got stolen (not really much I could do about it!). Due to the great reviews of this one I thought I woke give it a try as the price point seemed really good.I set mine up in my allotment a few nights ago and wanted to check what animal was causing damage to some of the netting and low and behold it was foxes (I had a sneaky suspicion but now confirmed!)There are various settings and obviously it has a night vision. I chose the ‘stills’ function which detects motion and takes snapshots. There are plenty of other options but take your time to read the manual and see what works best for you. Very clear photos and the fox had no idea so it’s good for not causing any alarm to animals. These outdoor cameras are a must have if you have an allotment or any concerns in your garden or outdoor space. They are built very solidly and withstand rain and heat. It can also capture unsuspecting neighbours who are getting a little too close!

Very disappointed with this. Seemed to have potential and had a number of plus points. Start button is unusual but worked OK. However, the images are blurry with the focus on distant objects not close to and there is some blurring so the snap shots were not as sharp as they should have been. Also does not work with rechargeable batteries which is less environmentally friendly. The worst thing though, is what the camera does to the SD card. I have used this particular card before and it works well. I format it before every re-use. However with this camera, I am prevented from renaming any image, either still or video, the system does a long-winded save and then crashes. I also put in a text document with details like camera number, date range and objects seen. This is not possible with this camera as it goes into a complex saving file mode, tells me it was successful and then asks me again, and again, and again. Eventually to get out of the loop I have to say do not save and the text file then appears blank. So I cannot make any notes about the recorded items. I emailed them for help and heard nothing, so sadly the camera will have to be returned as I must annotate the images before transferring to my wildlife backup drive. Shame as it had potential.
