I have a bunch of this type of adapter. -Mostly converting to the Sony e-mount system, but I picked up this one (for a Panasonic Micro 4/3) and it is just as good.What a way to very affordably expand your collection of prime lenses! -Old Canon FD glass is all over eBay, all for around $50 to $80. (A year ago, it was even cheaper.)I figured, "Why mess around with $1000 modern lenses? For a third of that cost I can get a collection of excellent primes." For a multi-camera studio setting where auto-focus is more an annoyance than a benefit, this has been a really rewarding option.These adapters make that possible. I find it amusing to think that none of my old primes were ever intended for videography, but here they are!Anyway, they work without flaw, are well-constructed and offer a tight fit, but as others have mentioned, they can be a bit fiddly to sort out how to make them function correctly with the F-Stop ring. (You have to install it in the "Open" and not the "Locked" position.)

Works well for the price but it has a couple issues. The lock/open ring is a little too loose and bumping it with my finger sometimes opens up the aperture a bit when I don't want it too. Second is the fact that the mount itself isn't perfect, it wiggles ever so slightly. Not enough to effect the image or cause any other issues, just annoying that it's clearly not manufactured to very tight standards. My $150 lens with a plastic mount is more secure than this adapter.

Fits perfectly on my Panasonic G85. Using a Canon FL 50mm f1.8 lens with no issues.Fits snugly and build quality is fantastic.

Bought a fd legacy lens on a whim knowing these things are out there and ordered this a couple of days later, nice product feels well machined and of good quality. Not to mention I now have a 100mm prime for a fraction of what I could have got a native version for! All in all very good and il be looking out for some of those better legacy lenses in fd format in future, for anyone wondering about “which adapter to get” fd is generally considered the most friendly for mft unless you give up aperture control for the “much rarer” Pentax 110 cameras
