Ideal for people and event photography; 35mm as a light WW up to 150 (telephoto) at 2.0-2.8 is awesome. In full format, this offers a very good release, so that my 85mm 1.8 is actually no longer needed. The only catch is that it's heavy, like a typical 70-200 2.8, but the flexibility is awesome. I like to use it.

class lens. Extremely light and small. Photos turn out great with enough light. 35mm is a great focal length for travel and city shots, but portraits are also very chic - if you get close :-) My only criticism would be the materials used. Compared to my other lenses, the Samyang 35 2.8 looks a little "cheap". But for the price that's okay.

Use the lens on my Sony 7RII and am very enthusiastic. Ideal combination for on the go. The optical performance is superb - sharp to the corners, virtually no chromatic aberration. The autofocus is accurate and fast enough. Unfortunately, the lens contains a lot of plastic and I hope the bayonet will last a while. Anyone who knows the optical performance of Sony and Zeiss lenses will be surprised what this small Chinese manufacturer has built here. I don't understand how Zeiss can hardly do anything better for 4-5 times the price. I'll just say - Zeiss dress warmly - the Chinese are coming. Hope Samyang expands the product line for the Sony FE Bayonet then this was not the last lens.

I'm excited! It's a wonderful size, making my Sony A7ii nice and compact, even fitting into a winter jacket. A perfect lens for on the go when you want it to be small, light and unobtrusive. The light intensity is great and is an advantage over any standard lens. A nice bokeh can be conjured up, I like the picture look and the sharpness is also perfectly fine. The AF works very well too, better than my Sony 50mm1.8. The image section and look are also perfect for street photography. For me it is currently a "always on top"! Best is the price! On offer for around €300, you really can't complain.

The lens offers extremely good quality across the board for the price. Images are very sharp even on a 42mp sensor. Perfect sharpness at f5.6-8 but very good even with an open aperture!

This small lens is a very affordable, high-quality, wide-angle lens for Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras. While it's not a new lens, I have no hesitation in recommending it. I use it on an a7 IV and it's a delight! Bottom up!

Already have the Sony 55mm and G 70-200. With this small, lightweight lens I wanted to expand the options and I'm excited for the price over the quality. It focuses well and has good sharpness. It is used on a Sony A7M3.

An amazing lens. To take advantage of the size and weight, the Sony full frame system needs more lenses that are compact, lightweight and with excellent image quality. That fits the bill perfectly. This basically makes my Sony system as portable as my old Fuji system. I also have the 28mm f2 and I actually feel the 35mm is sharper and faster. 35mm is also an easier focal length to shoot and this lens lives on my a7rii 90% of the time.

With an open aperture, of course, relatively blurred at the edge. Closing an aperture increases the sharpness of the image enormously. Really very good for this price. And for the Sony Alpha 7 a real pancake!!
