I do a lot of metal detecting and this detector was for my grandson to come along and look for stuff with me he thinks it's great so well worth the money.

Santa brought this for my nine-year-old son and he loves it. It had good depth in terms of sensitivity and works like a treat! My son's first foray in the park yielded 拢2.65 and second time just 10p. 100 per cent record so far! Great fun to be had and we can't wait to try it on a beach somewhere.

My grandson aged 6 was delighted with this and has been out with my son using it. He phoned me to tell me had found 2 拢1 coins so was thrilled. It comes with a trowel as well. I can see this being used a lot in walks and the beach.

I BOUGHT THIS ITEM FOR MY 8 YEAR OLD GRANDSON because it was something that he could use outdoors and would get him away from his tablet and the tv. He loves it...

Sorry to say quite cheep and nasty . Picks up coins on the floor but needs to be very close , didn't really work outside very well.
Is just a toy really , have seen others much cheaper in high st shops , may replace with one of those . There is issue with battery compartment too , and needs something to pack it out.
