was thinking of getting these and not using the screw-on tiffen black pro mist anymore since I don't have all the sizes for all my lenses. Honestly they're not bad, but the diffusion is different. Especially with direct pointed light: there is a very clear halo that is more defined than with tiffen but which then fades much more quickly moving away from the light source. Excellent for some uses but in my specific case where I use rgb lights pointed at the car to color the scene without needing to spray smoke, the quality of tiffen is decidedly superior and more pleasing to the eye. For a more general and less specific use than mine they are still very good and compared to the screw-on tiffen they create much less flares

The box, carry pouch and filter itself feel like buying a lot more expensive product. It's all of great quality and feels premium. The filter itself seems nice, I did some quick tests. I don't think you can go wrong with a Mist type filter on the lowest density.

The first thing that caught my attention was the slim and compact design of the filter. It easily fits into my matte box without adding any extra weight or bulkiness. The 4mm thickness is perfect for minimal light loss, and the HD optical glass ensures crystal clear images. The multi-layer coating also helps to reduce reflections and maintain color accuracy. One of the standout features of this filter is its compatibility with various matte boxes, including Tilta and SmallRig. It's a great option for those who use different equipment and don't want to invest in multiple filters. The build quality is also impressive, and I can tell that it's built to last. But the real game-changer for me was the diffusion effect. This filter creates a beautiful softening effect while still maintaining the sharpness of the image. It's perfect for portraits and adds a dreamy quality to the photos. I found myself using it more often than I initially thought I would.
