I lost my original osmo wide lens so needed a new one. I tried this and so far so good! Perfectly packaged and fit and finish. No issues so far

So easy to use, just put it on the lense and you're ready. Really impressive. You can get in much closer, macro video looks great. You notice such a difference once you take it off the lense. The Osmo on its own can get no where near as close.

Whilst I use the Osmo primarily for video, on occasion I do take the odd photo and my wife, who has a fascination for creepy crawlies has been known to grab whatever camera I have to hand to snap some rare bug or other.
This just builds on what is already a remarkably good device, it mounts easily through magnets and isn't easy to dislodge, and does what it promises to do.

A single caveat, unlike filters this can't be on the Osmo when you turn it off as it is too bulky to allow the gimbal to close correctly.

I want to start by saying that I am not a photography expert. I have the Osmo Pocket 3 and I know how to use it basically. I did purchase the creator combo which comes with the wide-angle lens. I chose this because I wasn't sure if there would be a difference in how wide the angle would be in comparison to what I already have, as I don't understand all the various terminology they use for lens. Keeping that in mind, I did not see a noticeable difference when I tried switching between both of these lens. Personally I like the build of the DJI lens better, and you can see a noticeable difference between the two when they are side by side. But the functionality of the lens is very comparable to each other. I also do not like anything on the outside of my lenses or filters, and this one does have white writing with the brand on it as compared to the clean, blank facing of the DJI branded one. They could put this branding on the outside edges to keep that from being so noticeable, but perhaps that is too difficult? These are also comparable in size with this one being ever so slightly larger in height when side by side. I think the overall take away from this review should be this - if you need a wide angle lens for your Pocket 3 and you did not get the creator combo, then this would be a more affordable solution.

There is a mark/damage and dust in the layers of the lens. This looks like it would have happened in the assembly of the lens as it is inside the layers of the lens. This makes it useless to use.
The lens was replaced and all is good with the new lens. Good after sales service.

There's three ND filters and three optical filters. The ND filters can be stacked, but only one at a time can be stored on the camera. Two or more is too thick to allow the camera to return to it's locking position when powering down. The optical lenses are also too large to keep on the camera. I'm a bit paranoid using the effect lenses and remove them as soon as I'm done. I don't let them sit on the camera too long when it's idle because it can auto-power-down and rotate the camera to the lock position.

The macro focuses from about 1.5-2.5 inches (that's a guesstimate). Wide angle adds about 30% to the area. Anamorphic basically converts the camera to a 2.4:1 (Cinemascope) aspect ratio instead of 16:9. Ultrawide monitors are typically equivalent to 2.4:1, and this lens looks amazing on my 3440x1440 monitor.

Also included is a screen protector - works great, no touchscreen issues - and a storage box for the filters and lenses. There's also a micro-fiber cloth. You'll need it because these are small and fingerprints are difficult to avoid.

Nice set of filters for the Pocket 3, that includes a screen protector. I liked that this comes in a case, and each filter is labeled. I tested each one. The ND filters work as expected, 8, 32, and 128, gives a good range. The ND filters are on the thinner side, so handling them while trying to avoid fingerprints was somewhat challenging. The other 3, are very thick. The wide angle worked perfect, and is quite wide, and sharp. The macro lens was fun to get close up shots with. The anamorphic is great for capturing wide shots at a distance, otherwise images too close tend to look distorted. A good all around set of filters for the pocket 3, that gives me options for capturing the best image.

The wide and micro lenses are the two I use most and they work really well
The wide angle is just as good as the DJI version
And both store nicely in the protective case
Of course don't set your pocket 3 to close the camera head automatically on power off because those lenses are too thick and will mess up your gimbal

The image gets dostorted both on the upper side as well as the downer side. I will add an example soon.
This happens mostly when the object is close by, when is far away is not so visible, for example the horizon remains pretty straight, but at tall building is quite visible.
I like that the image quality remains quite good, the edges maybe a bit blurry but not so significant to notice for video.
Also good that you can actually snap it to the case like the original wide from DJI, I don't have that lens to compare it to to see the difference which would help to make a better decision of this one is worth buying, however for the price difference I think it is worth it and that is why I kept it.

I highly recommend this lens for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. It's a great add-on for such an already amazing camera. Would've given 5 stars but my only dislike is the lens is bulky and the Osmo pocket 3 cannot shut down properly due to the size of the lens. I would prefer a thinner design like the K&F Concept ND Polarized Filters. I'm able to power down the Osmo Pocket 3 with those filters on the camera. This Anamorphic Lens is well built and produces cinematic style shots that look professional.
