With its slick interface and a plethora of features, the AI Language Translator is the latest tool to earn a place in my travel bag. The setup was intuitive, and the addition of ChatGPT was a happy (but necessary) surprise which rounded out this excellent language translator device.Online and offline translation modes are a must these days, and those are included here. Exchange rate and unit conversion are another area where this unit shines and is something I could have made use of during my last trip to Germany.Group translation is yet another new feature not seen on other translation devices, and while I don't know if I'll be using it much, it's a nice addition to have when traveling with a large tour group. There's so much to like about the AI Language Translator, so I consider it a 5-star product that I would buy again.

This was pretty easy to figure out. Took us about 5-10 minutes. My partner speaks Spanish so that was easy to test. It is pretty accurate. We did need to speak a little slower and enunciate

This works very well.I tried it using the few languages I speak, and it worked very fast, over WiFi. When I used it without WiFi, using a few downloaded languages, it was a bit slower, but it did work. Cannot verify how accurate it was, since I downloaded languages I do not speak, but I am going to assume that they are just as accurate, since the languages I tested it on using WIFI were 100% accurate.Photo translations were a bit hit or miss. I think it has to do with the fonts and the designs of what you trying to translate. The things I tried to translate worked, but it was a bit wonky.I only took a star off because the touch screen seems a bit old fashioned. Given that this is a very modern AI powered device, I would have expected this to have a very sleek and state of the art modern touch screen, but, it is not. I guess they opted for an older style touch screen to keep the cost down?The live translate is a great thing if you are traveling overseas. Definitely a wonderful device to have.

I really like this device. This language translator has the form factor of a narrow mobile phone. I liked the overall look of this device. It is very sleek and simple and fits nicely in a pocket, backpack, or purse. This translation device supports 148 languages. It mostly works over Wi-Fi, but you do have the option to download languages for offline use. The use it in primary mode, you set each of two buttons on screen with the desired target languages (your language and the one for translation). Pressing the appropriate language will activate the device to listen for that language and then automatically translate. There are also two physical buttons on the side of the phone that do the same thing. I found the physical buttons more to my liking. In addition, you can translate from photos, recordings, text input, real-time translation, etc. There is even a “smart recording” that will do a real-time translation during a conversation between two languages. This will be on my travel list from now on. It also includes a clear plastic case to help protect the device. It comes with a charging cable, and a lanyard for wearing around your neck. I do wish there was a way to increase storage, but other than that I do like this AI translator.
