K&F Concept 82mm Variable ND Filter ND8-128 (3-7 Stop) HD Hydrophobic VND Filter for Camera Lens No X Cross Nano-Xcel
SKU: KF01.1080
I recently picked up this variable ND filter for my camera setup and honestly, I’ve been really impressed with the performance for the price point. I ended up purchasing the 72mm version after trying the 77mm model, and both have delivered solid results for photography and video work.
The build quality feels premium right out of the box. It comes with a nice protective case, and the filter itself is made from metal and glass, giving it a durable, professional feel. The adjustment ring rotates very smoothly, making it easy to fine-tune exposure while shooting outdoors.
The variable ND function works exactly as expected. Image quality stays sharp across most of the range, and I didn’t notice any major loss in detail during my testing. At the strongest ND settings there’s a slight colour shift and some vignetting, but nothing that can’t be corrected quickly in Lightroom or other editing software.
For creators who shoot both photo and video, this is an incredibly convenient all-in-one filter for travel and everyday use. I still use my square filter system for more demanding professional shoots, but for quick setups and portability, this filter has become my go-to option.
Considering the quality and versatility, the price feels fair overall. If it were slightly cheaper it would be an even better value, but I’d still confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable variable ND filter without spending a fortune.

I’ve been using the K&F Concept 77mm Variable ND Filter for a few weeks now and it has quickly become one of the essential accessories in my camera bag. The build quality feels premium, especially considering the affordable price.
The filter works exactly as advertised. It helps control light beautifully when shooting outdoors and makes it much easier to maintain cinematic shutter speeds for video. I was also impressed with how well it reduces glare and reflections while keeping image quality sharp and clean.
The adjustment ring turns smoothly, and I haven’t experienced any noticeable X-pattern issues within the usable range. The hydrophobic coating is a nice bonus too, especially for outdoor shooting in unpredictable weather.
Honestly, I don’t leave home without this filter anymore. It’s one of those accessories you don’t realize you need until you start using it regularly. For the price, the performance is outstanding and I’d absolutely recommend it to photographers and videographers looking for a reliable variable ND filter.

This is amazing, really cheap and really good, high-quality glass, I accidentally dropped it and it didn't even have a scratch! works very well, and the ring isn't too loose. However, if you tighten it a bit to much,it will be hard to remove.
Recommend using a rubber band to remove it in that case,
although it is very very good, recommend it 10/10, you won't be disappointed!

As a Professional Photographer and now moving over to Video as a Hybrid Shooter and content creator I have a growing number of new Professional mirrorless cameras & lenses. With many lenses of different diameters it is first and foremost important to protect the lens elements from damage. Then decide on what specialty filters that will help you with your composition & image making. From UV, circular polarizers, and Neutral density filters, K&F Concept Professional Optics makes great glass. In my many years of use of different brand name filters, it is my opinion K&F Concept will give you the BEST bang of your BUCK. Buy one today, try it out and see for yourself!

I shoot photography semi professionally and needed a good CPL after watching YouTube reviews I popped on this for my canon t7 with EFS lenses it disappeared perfectly, stays on (sometimes to good can be a lil tough coming off), picture quality is great (I run manual always), hasn’t scratched or discolored yet it’s been like 2 years almost with near daily used mainly in the woods/nature, threads are okay that’s probably the only “2 complaints” if you’d call them such I have, first the lens cap (stock canon 58mm) do not hold onto the CPL so travel with caution and keep tabs on your lens cap or you’ll be buying more! And second it binds a little going on every now and then if they’d clean them up a shade and maybe get lens caps to hold tighter for travel this CPL would be and really is the best bang for the buck in my eyes! Yeah you can buy crazy expensive stuff but on a budget for non pro use definitely get you one! Once I finally do this one in I’ll be buying another. Oh and super important it comes in its own hard case for storage/travel with foam and it locks shut so it’s safe, I’ve had it in my camera bag and climber mountains and it’s stayed in the case no issues that’s definitely a plus i needed to mention.

THREAD SEEMED MACHINED CORRECTLY, GOOD FIT ON MY 150 TO 500MM SIGMA ZOOM. i FOUND NO ISSUES WITH AUTO FOCUS WHEN PAIRED WITH MY NIKON Z7. POLARIZATION SEEMS EFFECTIVE AND i HAVE NOT NOTICED ANY DISTORION.

I bought this 95mm CPL for my Tamron 150-600 lens. Being new to big tele’s, I foolishly started with a cheap $20 CPL (Altura, if you must know). The auto-focus simply would not work with this filter when the lens was cranked beyond about 300mm. So the local camera store sold me a ProMaster CPL for $270. That performed perfectly, but unfortunately it got broken, although happily it kept the lens from being damaged. Not wanting to spend that kind of money again, I decided to try the K&F Concept CPL for a mere $59.49. It performs perfectly at all focal lengths, getting images every bit as tack-sharp as with the filters removed. Great sky darkening and reflection control!

Rotating the outer filter is extremely smooth - much, much better than I expected on a filter of this price.
