This product looks great when you get it out of the box, it comes in a nice padded carry case with handles and a shoulder strap. It comes with basic instructions that give the user the required info to be able to use all features of the tripod.

The tripod itself is very stable and feels extremely well made. The aluminium construction is nice, but does add a little weight, though for the functionality it’s a small sacrifice.

A single leg is detachable allowing for the conversion to a monopod, which as per the images, can be used with the ball head mount. This can be done with no tools required, which gives great flexibility when on location, as it doesn’t require extra gear to be carried.

Towering over me at around 2m tall when fully extended or when reconfigured the centre post can be mounted upside down. The horizontal arm allows for the perfect position for top down shooting or macro photography, giving a reasonable reach with good stability.

Overall I am very impressed with this tripod and would definitely recommend it, especially when compared to competitors offerings, which generally have a much higher price point. K&F have produced a great product that is a pleasure to use.

I purchased this tripod to take long exposure shots of the sea. For fun, I took the same shots with my husband’s Gitzo carbon fibre tripod.

In terms of equipment, I mounted a Canon 6D Mark II with a Marumi 6 stop ND filter. I took exposures of around 10-30 seconds in winds of 12 mph gusting to 16mph. Yep, I checked the wind speed!

My feeling is that the biggest difference between the two tripods is the weight in transit. Carbon fibre is lighter than aluminium but in actual use both tripods are rock solid.

I should say that because the Gitzo is over £600, the K&F is exceptional value for money. I found it sturdy, well constructed, and I really liked the fact that the main tripod column has another hidden column inside it like some sort of Russian doll. It took me some time to figure out where it was but once I did I was very satisfied with myself. :-) Once you pull it out, it can be rotated transversely so as to mount your camera in portrait mode. Brilliant!

Suffice to say that I couldn’t tell the difference between the seascapes I took with this K&F tripod and the Gitzo, which just goes to show for the hundredth time that it’s not the gear you have but the skill you have that matters.

As for micro movements affecting camera shake, I believe that both tripods in real world use probably had about the same. In the end, it came down to my ability to use them.

I’ve included some shots of the K&F tripod because I feel so strongly about this product that I think it’s important to show off the build quality. I really like it. For the money, it’s an absolute winner.

So I finally pulled the trigger and bought an expensive tripod. This was available as a lightning deal, and am I glad I purchased it!

First the quality, immediately, out of the box, you know that this is a quality product, the carrying bag it comes in is very high quality! And once you take out the tripod, you can feel all the details and the weight of it. I personally think this was a better option than the carbon ones as I live in Scotland, and it gets very windy here, the bit of extra weight will definitely help keep my camera steady when there are big gusts of wind. It is lightweight enough that you can strap it onto your bag, I usually travel and hike with my Sony camera and this is definitely going to help me improve my landscape photography. I've just recently bought an ND filter as well, so can't wait to get some quality results!

I noticed that this is an extremely versatile tripod, being able to support my camera at versatile yoga like angles for macro photography and it doubles as a mono-pod! I am not very experience with a mono-pod, and would never buy one on its own, but I am starting to enjoy it, it is definitely the super light option.

Overall excellent build quality, and price to value ratio!

I've been looking for a tripod to supersede my Zomie Q666. It did me well but it was too small, to shakey, i couldn't get low enough for macro, i couldn't get high enough for studio work and my landscapes in water were not steady enough.

This Tripod answered all those problems in one go. I shoot Olympus and the plate is a little large for the camera but it fits snug if you tighten it well. Otherwise its done well in water perfect when you want to get close to the water level (see photo) , i've shot low down macro and been able to position it well low for shooting horses from under the fence.

Nice build quality, twist grip telescopic legs tighten well without too much effort. Definitely worth the money when compared to the competition.

Sure it's heavier than the smaller Q666 but it's not too heavy you cant carry it on your backpack. It comes in a really solid carry case of its own you can wear over your shoulder if you don't have a bag already. Very Impressed overall.
A versatile tripod thats not too heavy but study and adaptable for any type of shooting.

I am over the moon with my new tripod, thank you so so much. I create a lot of videos for YouTube and needed to video from above my paintings and this tripod is fantastic for this and easy to use. I found it very easy to arrange the tripod exactly how I used it. Plus I also love the fact that it is so easy to get my video camera on and off the tripod, such a brilliant idea to make it so easily detachable x

My first impressions of this product was very good. When taking the product out of the box I was surprised that the bag that covers and protects the tripod was very high quality. The tripod itself is compact when packed away, and as I was first setting the tripod up I was impressed with the feel, weight and the quality of the product. It is reassuring that I will be trusting my camera equipment to a well built and sturdy tripod. The versatility of the tripod is a photography dream. The ease of the twist locks on the telescopic legs make setting up to the desired height a breeze. The monopod as an extra feature is a bonus that many more expensive tripods just don't feature. Being able to set the camera mount up in multiple positions is great. The ability to mount my camera as low as possible brings with it an amazing way to shoot low level pictures that suit wildlife subjects. The boom arm was needed to undertake macro photography and this was sturdy without any shake. Just what is needed when their is limited access for the tripod legs. I did like the hook that lets you add weight to the tripod, not that its needed unless the weather conditions are severe enough.

Overall I am more than pleased with this tripod. It will be a great addition to my equipment. Will it turn me into a world famous photographer, no (unfortunately) but it will give me more opportunities to improve the quality of my photos and bring different perspectives to photographing subjects.

I researched various tripods before deciding on this one and I’m pleased that I did. The tripod folds up neatly and comes with a carry case which has reflective material on it. The tripod itself is very sturdy and well made. I like that it can be used as a monopod. The quality and design of this tripod is fantastic. The different configurations make it really versatile for lots of different shots. The height of this tripod is perfect for overhead work too. I can’t praise the quality and design of this tripod enough.
High quality and beautifully made tripod. High quality and beautifully made tripod. High quality and beautifully made tripod. High quality and beautifully made tripod.

So I'm in the market for a tripod. Hmmm....but which one to choose? There's hundreds - and if you're easily swayed by the Youtubers, camera shops and magazines, the only possible way forward - unless you're a complete newbie - is carbon fibre. But take one look at CF tripods and you'll see that they're at least £200+ - probably nearer £300.

Can I warrant paying that? No. So it's going to have to be an aluminium one. Let's see what's available.

Hmmm....what's this - 'K&F Concept'....never heard of them. If I've never heard of them, they can't be any good, right?

WRONG!

I ordered this tripod because of the range of options it has available -

- Ball & Socket Head;
- Invertable (is that a word?) centre section to get camera down to ground level;
- Ability to mount centre column at right angles;
- Option to unscrew one leg to become a monopod;
- Quality (and I mean quality) carry bag;
- Centre hook to hang bag/weight on to improve stability.

And it had 10% off when I bought it!

It's a well machined piece of kit. It feels good. It's not heavy - but it's not lightweight either. It feels reliable. The legs invert for carrying/storage so the head of the tripod is hidden by the folded legs. Unhinging the legs gives you the option of several 'click-stops' for setting up.

You can get your camera down to ground level with this - or up to about 6 feet.

I love it. Great bit of kit - and a bargain price too.

I've since learned that K&F also make CF tripods - it might be worth a look at one of those if that's the way you lean...

I ordered this tripod as I needed a lightweight, compact, sturdy travel tripod for my trip.
I read many reviews from several travel tripods and settled on this one.

I am so glad I did as this tripod is perfect, it’s so lightweight, compact and hardly noticeable when carrying for a full day.
It comes with its own bag included within the price. Some other tripods you have to pay additional price for the bag.
It folds down to such a small size and the weight is very light.
The tripod is sturdy enough to hold my Canon 5div and a 24-70 f2.8 lens.
The legs can be adjusted so it gets low to the ground for when I’m taking landscape photos.
The head of the tripod the middle section pivots so it can be angled over railings so you don’t miss that shot or get any unnecessary objects in the way.

My trip involved lots of walking up mountains, some very uneven terrain and some less than ideal conditions. Such as rain and wind, the tripod managed perfectly and that is why I’m giving it a 5 star review.
Just ensure when in heavy wind the tripod is setup correctly before attaching your camera.

Attached are some photos from a recent outing for sunset.

I like recording time-lapse videos while drawing or painting. I can't hold my Sony camera at an angle that will capture the surface I'm working on so this was PERFECT. I love how versatile it is because I can adjust the extended arm so it looks like a traditional tripod. It's really the best purchase I made recently. It's extremely sturdy so when the camera is pointing downwards at my desk, I don't have t worry about it falling and breaking. This tripod is perfect for outdoors/field work. You can easily pack it up and put it in the travel case that comes with it. I definitely recommend this!!!!
