I researched Many options before choosing this tripod. I needed some thing that was sturdy yet lightweight and easy to carry around. All the prices I was getting locally at my camera stores were over $200 for tripods.When I received this in the mail I was actually amazed at the quality. I have a friend who will be purchasing this exact one soon as we went for a shoot and her very expensive tripod snapped at the pivot joint.She was impressed with this piece of equipment for the what little I paid.

Easy to use, fast in, fast out of my truck. I use it for huge binoculars, and I feel safe to use it. IF you chose a Tri-Pod, this one is A1. Make sure you chose the right one, there is different versions of tripod, some have side extension, (which I didn't need ) offset arms, and others. THIS brand is TOP quality, TOP features, ("single arm feature"). I just love it. Make you explore all the features, for the instructions are not the best. I discovered that the "main" screw can be inverted for another "screw treads". which is awesome for different screw mount. It well/strongly built. We are far far away from those old silver classic tripod. "A NEW generation" I'd say.VERY good buy, looking for a second one, for a different use.... will chose this brand for sure.EXTREMLY satisfied.

Modèle comportant majoritairement des composantes en métal. Il semble manquer certains éléments que j'ai avec mes autres trépieds, comme un bras de manipulation. Ce modèle est un peu plus lourd que d'autres, mais demeure transportable. Les pieds se replient sur la pôle centrale. Des "clips" bloquent les pattes. Pour moi, l'absence d'un bras de manipulation est le facteur qui fait que je ne donne pas 5 sur 5 dans la note globale. / Model mainly comprising metal components. It seems to be missing some items that I have with my other tripods, like a manipulation arm. This model is a little heavier than others, but remains transportable. The feet fold back onto the central pole. Clips block the legs. For me, the absence of a manipulation arm is the reason why I don't give it a 5 out of 5 in regards to the rating.

Working really well for my start up business, I did not want to invest a lot of money in my small studio but in the same time I wanted good quality for a good price. The tripod is solid and is exactly what I was looking for.
