Better than you think
You can probably get less functional, more robust tripods for the money. BUT it's a great compromise between quality and functionality. It's better made than you think, although it's a long term life, I can't say yet. This allows for an almost unique range of heights that I could only otherwise achieve with studio supports or booms. Enables you to take overhead video shots for fly as well as in the studio. For me, this will be primarily for studio use for flexible quick setups when I need a shot in a rush. But I used it outdoors and achieved angles with a remote that would have been difficult otherwise. I like. I would have paid more for a deluxe version with perhaps better locking leg positions and stronger springs and. But that's fine, not a toy or a gadget.
