Perfect travel gear
It's a surprisingly solid tripod considering how inexpensive it is. I've had a K&F tripod in the past, but sold it when I upgraded to a Manfrotto for more serious work, however I've been needing a travel tripod since that Manfrotto is bulky. This thing is really compact when folded down, and seriously stable considering it's rather lightweight. For heavier kits, you may want to keep it shorter than full height, but with a Canon RP with a 24-105L, it had no problems. The option to hang something from the center post hook will help keep it stable as well.
The adjustments are smooth, all of the joints are plastic but have a lot of interleaving segments that make it seem very rigid. You will notice a bit of sag after tightening the elevation tilt joint though since it is still just plastic, but that's not much of a problem once you get used to it. The portrait tilt adjustment on my tripod is just slightly not level, I had to tighten it as I held the joint closed to keep it from springing back. All of the tube sections seem sturdy, but be a little cautious when lowering the center post if you elevate the camera, the screw keeps it from moving but it's free to drop without any sort of friction joint when you loosen that screw.
All in all, a great tripod for the price, especially if you want to use it for travel. The bonus phone holder and phone shutter release were welcome additions. It looks pretty slick too.
