The metal ring holds lenses firmly when they are locked in place. The mechanism for this is the same as the original bayonet. I personally find the FD bayonet adapter a little more difficult to connect the lens than the one for the K bayonet, but that may be a matter of getting used to, as I have worked much more with the K bayonet before. Connecting it to the camera itself (X bayonet) is very easy and everything feels very secure here too. The cardboard packaging doesn't bother me, but it could possibly bother other interested parties

What can I say, the adapter completely meets expectations. I own a few adapters from K&F Concept and this one fits in seamlessly in terms of fit and workmanship. I can only recommend it.

The product feels very high quality. Fits perfectly on the Fujifilm X-T20. Frustration-free packaging too! At first I couldn't take any pictures with the X-T20... watch out here! You have to activate it under "Settings" first. To do this, switch on "Record without lens". Then it works without any problems.

have a Fujifilm X-T200 and my mom had a couple of old Canon lenses so I figured why not get the adapter. The lenses and adapter slot together easily, feel sturdy and work great. Once I figured out how to adjust my camera settings I was able to take photos. If you are struggling with this too I recommend checking out the company's website. I clicked on the adapter I bought and they had instructions on how to set up your camera to use these vintage lenses.

Looks great with the lens and camera. Good secure fit. I had read that the aperture ring sometimes sits too close on some mounts and is awkward to turn, but my copy of the lens works absolutely fine with this mount. I haven't tried it with other Konica Hexanon lenses to know how it works, but so far so good. Very happy.

The adapter fits perfectly on the Canon lens and also fits perfectly on my Fuji. It is absolutely cleanly made, I can't say anything negative about it. It fits perfectly, which is why I can recommend it.

own several EF and EF-S lenses, but unfortunately this device only works with USM lenses as there is no power connection to the lens. Manual focusing is not supported for STM lenses.

I didn't know the K&F Concept brand, but I recently read a positive review about their adapters. I already use adapters from Quenox and K&F (also good quality) and wanted to try this brand. -Coupling with lens: tight but good -Coupling with body: perfect -Infinite focus: good -Light tightness: not measured -Material and workmanship: good -Operating aperture with G lens: good -Coupling with pre-AI lens: good -Price/quality: good In short, great product!

Purchased to use Sigma 50mm macro, Nikon mount, on my XT3. After some uncertainty with pairing the adapter to the lens (instead it fits perfectly to the camera body) I have to say I am fully satisfied. The optics maintain good quality in both photos and videos. It also looks well built so I hope it lasts a long time.
