These are not precisely the same for as the original one that came with the tripod I bought. They look identical at first but there are a couple of round registration pins underneath that are slightly too large, not allowing the plate to sit in correctly. Rather than sending them back I am taking a file to those two bumps and will shave them so they will. Disappointing.

superb quality for the discerning amateur or pro, metal plates are so much better than plastic or cheap aluminium, keep my expensive lens and camera safe... K&F are excellent products

I bought a K&F concept tripod which already contained one. I wanted a second for two reason: one is as a backup in case I loose or it gets broken, and the other reason is I can keep one constantly attached to camera while the other one is constantly attached to my 200 mm lens which needs to be centered on the tripod due to its weight.

there is just one small thing about this pruduct, the screw underneath does work its self loose. but its ok,

Solid construction and well finished and has rubberised pads on camera-facing surface for grip. Bought as an extra quick-release for my k&FC tripod and is exactly the same as the original.
