Amazing value for money. Works well and serves its purpose. However, it feels very cheap. I assume that due to the lighting conditions, there are sometimes problems with the stylus snapping into place. All in all it works fine. I've only used it in 4 rounds so far but so far so good. Only +/- 2-3 yards difference to what other much more expensive brands shoot from the same location

I know some of the distances were different. Most likely it's because I figured it out.
Once I get the hang of handling the background, I know I'll like it better. I use it for golf

bought this rangefinder 15 months ago and have enjoyed it for two seasons, but last week it stopped working. So far it has worked very well. The flag finder feature was particularly impressive. So far I have been 100% satisfied with the item. When it stopped working, the symptom was that I couldn't see any lines, crosses, or numbers in the viewfinder. The power was completely gone, although the device was fully charged before leaving home for a golf course. When I asked for help, the seller asked a few questions about the symptoms and kindly offered a 50% discount coupon even though the one-year warranty had expired. After buying the second one at half price, I wanted to disassemble the non-working one to see the inside. Long story short: I found a way to fix the problem. The culprit is the rubber cover over the power button. The rubber cover was easily removed by simply pulling up with a slight twist. Its interior was worn out, pinched by the edge of the case and pushing down the power button — meaning it was losing power all the time. So I put a small piece of tape on the worn part of the rubber cover inside. This prevented the cover from being pinched by the plastic casing around the power button, and voila, the rangefinder worked again! I see several reviewers complaining about a sudden power outage and my advice on this is to see if the power button works with a clicking sound. If there is no clicking sound (even if the button goes down), open the rubber cover and do something to release the power button. This item serves its purpose well and is very inexpensive.

I liked the first one so much that I bought another one and still only spent about half to a quarter of what it would cost for a big brand range finder. No batteries required, the device charges via a USB cable and gives you incline and distance. Great Value!

All boys want to use it!

YES, slope is important when getting a range finder to get really accurate distances to the pin while golfing!! When you play a hole where the tee shot is higher than the green, there is a difference in the distance your ball travels. Let's say the marker is 130 yards away but the slope is 10 degrees down. The tilt indicator tells you the marker is 130 yards from the marker, but it's played as if it's 117 yards away! This can completely change your club selection and swing speed! So if you're looking for a rangefinder that can really pinpoint ball hit distances, slope is a much more accurate reading for any holes that aren't dead at height either. The mode is illegal for tournament play, but all your practice rounds and experience with this feature will really help you understand for yourself how tilt affects the distance your ball travels, and you'll start to get a better "feel" for it Get incline variations without using this feature for tournament play. So it's still a great feature to improve the accuracy of your golf game!

There is a button on the side that you can slide to turn off the tilt mode. When tilt mode is on, there is a red light on the side. So if you use it in a tournament you can show it to your playing partners so they can easily see that you are using it when the red light is off don't cheat
