Why does the black cross appear?

A
All variable ND filters have this problem: the longer the focal length used, the less the cross shadow will be affected. In the large light reduction gear, cross shadow and vignetting will obviously appear. If you continue to rotate, the shadows will disappear naturally. This is a physical phenomenon, not a product problem.
