Golden sparkles in your photos and videos
A curious filter. When placed in front of the camera lens, you achieve a linear flare effect similar to that obtained with anamorphic lenses, which adds an attractive and artistic visual style to the shots, and if you plan it well, even a cinematic one.
The filter clearly has quality. Among its layers, it includes gold filaments that are responsible for creating those lines of light in the images. This works especially well when working with bright lights or reflections, generating flares. However, it's not as effective at night. The lines of light can become too prominent when there are many light sources, such as streetlights or car headlights, which can saturate the image and make the composition too confusing.
It's an effect that can save a lot of time and give better results than what would be done in post-production, but it definitely needs to be used sparingly. It's certainly not an anamorphic lens, but it looks good, especially on a budget.
