Good Value, Great Image but Needs Rechargeable Batteries
Neat little machine and a perfect present for a wildlife mad friend who has badgers on his property. Unfortunately I missed the fact that it didn't come with rechargeable batteries which are a necessity with a device like this as it draws quite a lot of power from the 6 x 1.5v AA batteries that aren't included and I expect this has helped keep the price down compared to similar more pricey units. You will also if you want to record video or take photos require an SD card which is to be expected and not required if you intend to use as you would a pair of normal binoculars. Nice feature to have but not a necessity. Very simple to use and very clear optics, but it is amazing to click through the various infrared intensity levels and suddenly be able to see on even the darkest nights with any wildlife showing brightly, it really is quite magical. Overall very pleased for the money paid.
