Helps you get those top-down shots without breaking the bank!
I have been getting into food photography and needed a budget friendly way to get those crisp top-down shots. I did not want to go out of my way and buy a whole new tripod or rig to get this shot. This accessory is the perfect solution because it allows you to connect it to a tripod that you already own. I attached my own ball-head to it and put my Sony a6300 on it and had no issues. It was attached to my Manfrotto befree aluminum tripod. With this light setup, it works out very well. Useful tripod extension

Excellent for stable close up shots
Very strong tripod arm that can be used with most cameras. You can be confident that once your camera is secure you are able to get great angles by using this sturdy tripod arm.

Good bit of kit for tabletop shots especially
This tripod arm does its job. It adds about 40cm which can be used as a height extension -or more usefully as a horizontal bar which can place a camera directly overhead of the object (in close-up work). You'll need to use a counterweight of course -and probably one on the main tripod.The arm comes disassembled, so if you're clueless with such things, go online and check out assembly and how it should look. As always with cheap alloy castings, be very careful not to cross-thread the various parts. The 1/4 -3/8" adaptor was not needed on my set-up (but it's something you'll want to hang on to).

Dope little boom. Cheap and does the job.
Simple tripod boom which does the job. It has 2 adjustable hinges for adjusting the height and angle of the boom. Fits any 1/4 screw. Instructions were a bit lacklustre - but I assume if you're getting this, you already know what you're doing.

A Great Value Extension Arm
For just £26.00 this extension arm is great value. Mine arrived disassembled but by looking at the photographs on Amazon's product page it was fairly simple to work out what goes where. I've mounted a Neewer Ball Head on mine and have it attached to a Manfrotto 290 Xtra tripod, a combination which suits my needs at present. As other reviewers have noted, the levelling bubble is almost useless and the extension arm itself could do with being a few hundred millimetres longer; minor quibbles and certainly no deal breaker. Overall I'm quite impressed with this item and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Perfect attachment for overhead filming if you already owned a tripod.
Since I already owned a tripod, I was only looking for an attachment to help with better overhead filming. This was easy to setup and perfect for my needs. It comes with about ten separate pieces but all of it is pretty self explanatory. It doesn't feel cheap at all, in fact, it's quite sturdy and durable. I'm very happy with my purchase.
