Must buy for reptile keepers
This was one of my standout buys of 2023, I thought my reptile enclosure had a mite infestation. But thanks to this thing, I was able to take a sample of the dirt that the bugs were on, put it under, take a photo of the screen using my phone and send it to a biologist and a pest expert, found out they were not mites, just psocids. I reduced the humidity further and they were gone in a week or two. Well worth the buy! Saved me from dumping hundreds of dollars worth of enclosure decor and substrate as I have a natural set up. Saves me a boat load of time. Wish I had it sooner!

better than expected
This low cost digital microscope gives extremely high quality crisp image throughout the full zoom range. Pictures attached are of a used 0.005" (0.125mm) end mill. You do need to get close to the object for maximum magnification (like 1 cm close), but even at 5cm away it still gives a huge magnification. The stand does feel cheap, but it does the work. The microscope head on the other hand gives high quality feel.

Fantastic!
It to me a long time to buy this cause it seemed like an unnecessary expense. I am a maker and spend a lot of time staring at tiny circuit boards. After recieving microscope i can't figure out how i managed without. The stand is a little cheap, but has given me no problem. If using a magnifying glass is normal for you, invest in this

Works for me so far
I only used it as far as testing the functions, but haven't used it for any work yet. I could check my previous 64-TQFP solder jobs much easier and clearer than the head gear. I bought it so I could solder some 0201 components, but that project stalled so I never got around to actually doing it. From experience with other types of scopes, I'd say this has enough screen resolution and enough physical space to solder 0.2 mm tracewidths with the lens at full height. Hopefully that's true when I finally get around to doing it or I'm gonna be upset lol

Awesome little machine for both kids and adults
My kids (4 and 6) love this thing. They're always looking for stuff to magnify next. Its easy to use, so even a 4 yr old can do it no problem. I'd think of it more as a magnifier than a microscope as I doubt you'd be able to see individual cells with it like back in Bio class, but it's more fun and interesting than the traditional microscopes if you ask me, especially for little kids. I admit I enjoy it too and I'm 41. Some things look really weird up close.

The image is very good from the same screen of the microscope has good resolution despite the price and what they will say, but it is quite good for something home and looking to explore the world, but connecting to the pc still lowers the image quality a little but it is quite good for a microscope of this price and for teaching, I would recommend them to biology and chemistry teachers so they can do their classes interactively

Software
This product should have come with software that would link it directly to view on a computer. When you go to the site recommended to download this FREE, software you open up yourself to numerous sites that say your "drivers" are out of date and will install them for you at the low price of $$$. Misleading by software firm and not the fault of the product manufacturer. You can download your videos and still pictures onto a SD memory card and then load that card into your computer, but because you won't purchase drivers you cannot use the software to view directly.

Very versatile
It's a great microscope. Very versatile. If you want better resolution you can hook it up to a larger display but it's great as it is. Zoom works well focus is easy to adjust and clear. Especially for the price this thing is outstanding. The only thing that was freaky was when the LED lights timed out and we thought we burned them out but they turn off after a while so they last longer. But one we figured that out it was no big deal.

Very Cool Microscope
This was purchased for my son (6) after we had bad experiences with traditional kids microscopes... i havent messed with it enough to take and save pictures, but my kids love it. Theyve used it to look at bugs, dog hair, rocks, our nails :) great quality screen!
