Good piece of kit for the price!
I am having so much fun videoing the wildlife in the garden, daytime and night-time! Wanted to check that just hedgehogs were eating the hog food I put out for them and got a surprise. Yes the hedgehog, a tiny little mouse, a cat passed by but didn't like the insect derived kibble but settled for a drink of water and finally, at dawn, a seagull who pecked away and tossed the dish in the air!
Even though the IR is invisible it is very sensitive to security lights etc. so play about with ideal distances if you are focussing on a particular area to prevent "flare", especially if you want close-ups. I have also taped a tiny sliver of muslin-type material over the microphone pinhole to reduce wind noise, which helps when the wind is gusty. Great value for money!

Recommended if you like watching wildlife
We purchased this product to detect nighttime activity in our garden. Set the camera up right next to the area we wanted to cover and waited. Looked at disk every week but it only took images/video of regular activity in broad daylight. Getting very frustrated I decided to test the product and walked around the area, even waved in front of the camera lens at 11.00pm but not a single image was picked up - Hardly night vision!!!Asked retailer for advice but received no response and now over 30 days so they won't refund or replace.

for a camera for hunting the quality is really good couldn't ask for anything else. mainly use it to watch animals that travel through my garden. very interesting

Definitely worth it ..
Good size, camera quality very good. Brought to use in the garden to capture birds and other wild life. Battery lasts well on this too. Managed to get some good videos on it.

Quality camera
Camera is good quality and takes quality images and video. I just wish it had a longer cord.

Captures movement almost instantly and is very clear, even at night.
Great trail cam foe the money, but with so many now out in the market. Others have same capabilities with a few more like Bluetooth and WiFi direct video feed.
